i got a lumtek 1000 and a 600, i have only had them for about a month so no real report from me yet, but they are completly silent , the bulbs go from off to as bright as they get in like 10 seconds. and they do hps and mh bulbs(except for the 750 ) . i like mine so far i'll report any problems i got though. peace.
