100% Germination Rate!

For once, ALL of my seeds popped! That's 120 out of 120. Only 1 mutant too .

I like to experiment... took a chance and tried some evergrow complete from sunwheel organics. Seems pretty good so far. Haven't heard much about this yet though except for a buddy who said it was good stuff.

Anyone else usually get 100%? I know this probably happens all of the time to alot of you, but to me it was like finally winning the poor man's lottery!

Good seeds are expensive and I'd love to learn *cough*steal*cough* your insider tricks, or hear your tales of the magical 100%. So post away!

I usually get most but not all due to fine tuning the germ process. Just simple peat pellets and a dark warm closet usually does 97% or so with a few D.O.A's or a couple of mutants/siamese twins here and there.

I had about 145/160 pop. It was mostly from 2 packs that didn't pop too, Apothacary and TGA

Almost all my bodhi seeds got100%. Aficionado also 100%. Lompa 100% but a few mutants

Put the 40 germinated seeds in EB Stone Seed Starter mix.. Ran out of that and out the rest in Fox Farms Seed Started. All of the EB Stone emerged. 11 of 69 emerged from the Fix Farms. It must have been a contaminated bag or something. I was fucking pissed!!

Wet 75% perlite/25% vermiculite in beer cups after soaking seeds 24 hours, one inch deep.

After I germ my seeds I use 2 parts light warrior seed starting mix (no nutrients) and 1 part Foxfarm Ocean Forest to give the seeds some sort of food as they sprout. Plain old water after that.

This year I'm using Black Gold seedling mix instead of light warrior.

Cup of water with a sandwich bag over top and then tape the rim so no air can get in. Always have 100% germ rate with this way.

When i used to run fox farms ocean forest a few years ago i would get 100% with the paper towel - soil method.

seed starter mixes have less nutes, so if you are running a soil like fox farms of, roots, vermifire etc its a good idea to flush some of the nutes out for seed starting.

A watering or two before planting works.

i used jiffy pellets this year had 100% germ rate with the seeds that i bought in packs. i germed a few freebies some cracked some didnt. i dont really count those bc u never know if they are old or awesome. last year i got a dinafem diseal freebie and it blew out 20$ per seed orders.

hey bro u was right about green poison. i have the fast version growing,and it is the most vigorous plant i have ever grown. its already past the 3rd node and working on the 4th. it wasnt germed till april 4th im putting this one in one my plots that recieves 10hrs direct sun. i know its not got really good mold resistance but im gonna try to baby it if i can with a few prevention measures. if august is super dry like it usally is in all the past years then i wont have no trouble with it. i think it suppose to finish around 7th of sept at my lat according to Tommy from sweet seeds. it was breed at the same lat as me so im hoping to bring it in well before any rain hits.

whats the problem with the plants what comes from old seeds?

after a few weeks they grow normally or not?

I think they just veg slower in the first few weeks.
