4 1ks over 2 4x8 trays, would work nicely. plant number is dependant in many factors. sea of green could be hundreds. scrog could be 4-6, how many clones can you access? how long do you want to veg. I think 6 per light is a good number, but i've done 12 before for a regular grow. many factors, tell us more

Thats what i was thinking. I'm only 1 k short. The space is nearly ready I have 1/3/7 gal pots ready to go but still undecided on a medium. things are a little rough $$ and my brother would love a joint venture but i've had my heart set on doing this project solo. And With a lil help from my friends of course. Thanks for the rapid response. Quick, how do i post pictures. I think it may be because im working with a dinosaur... Cheers

if u don't have the equipment yet.. go with 600s.. and be smart.. do like double wat you would do 1000s.. maybe 1.5 atleast.. and jam your entire room a nice even canopy.

if you have 1000s already .. id do 4-6 1000s in that space.

Gavita's, either 600 or 1000 DE. I would go with 4 1000's or 6 600's. The only real difference between these two lamps is the distance you can keep them away from plants. I am running 600's and literally keep my reflectors attached to the ceiling in an 8' tall room.

I would also run 4 plants per light and give them enough time to fill in. You can even do a startup system by only doing half a room at once, cuts costs and gets you up and running..

Just my opinion...

6 1000's in my 10x10 over 2 3x6 trays. over did it on light so i wouldn't have to worry about adjusting height. it's.. pretty bright in there.

ya when we move into the new place.. we are running 4 4x8 tents.. 2 1000s in each tent.. for flower.. and a 10x10 veg tent.. with 5 600s.. 4 horizontal 1 vert. until we can upgrade to gavitas or another DE setup... staying away from LEDS until they aren't going to cost an arm and a leg.. when u can get 3 gavitas 1000 DEs for the same price as a 400-600watt LED.. ill stick to DE bulbs before LED FOR SURE
