#1 REZ strain..?? your opinions

im currently thinking about purchasin a rez strain although they are astronomical in pricing they do have some good quality to them and resin drippin buds. but just outta curiousity i was wondering what everyones favorite rez strain is and why and how was the taste,yeild,potency etc. and what is was grown under and how it was grown.

My personal fav is strawberry D. Reason is it has the taste of sour D which cant be beat and the Strawberry really pumps up the high. The taste is mainly of Sour D ( which to me is the best tasting herb around besides dabney blue) but has a slight fruity hint to it as well. Sour D has a great high but the strawbeey crossed to it really takes the high up another notch and makes the high last longer. Yield wise she is a nice yielder, can produce a few zips a plant under the right conditions. While i love sour d , strawberry d is my fav

IMO, for the astronomical pricing they need to be much, much better than just good quality. There are lots of other strains out there from other breeders of just as good quality for 1/2 the price.

You can get 15 seeds from Serious or Sensi for cheaper, and they've been breeding selectively for over twenty years. Look at it this way. With beer you can always get a 6 pack of coors light for $5,and most places carry it. Or you can get a 6 pack of a nice IPA from a microbrewery and pay $7-$8 for a 6 pack and cant find that beer in most places. Sure coors will get you drunk, but IPA tastes alot better and is more enkoyable while it gets you drunk. If you dont have the $$ for the beans stop bitching and go get some sensi beans. The rest of us see Rez's prices as more than fair for the quality of product you get for your money.

Hell,I've been breeding for more than a decade,and Reservoir Seeds have been available,retail,for about five years.
Before the retail,I was giving them away,for about three years.
Demand outstripped my ability to distribute them,and retail sales were born.
As for Sensi's 'breeding program',they haven't released anything really new,progressive,or worth a shit,for a good many years.
Their last releases were poly-polyhybrids,and imo a giant load of shite.
Their lines that they haven't fucked with,like their Kush IBL and Jack Herer,are dandy,and have my respect....the rest are generally sub-par,but well-promoted.
Being the 'oldest' doesn't come close to making you the best,
Dutch Passion's an old shop,and their seeds flat-out suck ass.

Rez: Yes,you can,but you won't get the same results,as I use different,superior parent stock.

if you can't afford $160 then maybe you should get either :
A. part time job
B. a job that actually pays!
if you can afford to grow weed then you should be able to buy some lovely genes. i've grown $20 seeds and gotten $20 buds outta them. you want something special then you're gonna pay for it. remember buddy, you get what you pay for!

no much to be said then whats already been said... yeah Rez is no where close to being a new breeder... I didn't know about being there for more than a decade, no wonder why he needs a break and long life vacation (=... just hope he stays around to chat tho...

but yeah like many have said, pretty much you get what you paid for.. and I know you don't want to seem like a drug dealer, but lets say you do find a female out of seeds you can clone it for so long and get your 160 worth easy selling clones or whatever.. or if you know friends that smoke, lie and say you bought like half an o and tell them to chip down in the smoke (not dealing, just lying (= )and I am sure you will get all your money back or pay less than 50 for a killed SD...

But anyway... I honestly haven't tried the new rez gear, but nothing but great things have been said about the Sour Diesel IBL, and the Strawberry cough... and Sour Queen 1 was killer to most... pretty much what Smokey has said..

Price should not be an option when buying seeds, good seeds will grow good herb period. Rez's gear is not much more than anyone elses besides the Sour D IBL, which took alot of work. The demand is very high too.

Considering the quality of the genetics I don't think they are over priced at all. Actually a deal in my mind. For the price of an ounce of street weed you can have potentially unlimited top quality bud. Its not like Rez is not taking a risk by doing this kind of work either. This isn't walmart, give him some respect.

I think with the amount of actual breeding work that went into these strains.
Plus the talent he possesses. It takes talent to breed a plant like MJ.
So many little differences.
You need a real keen eye and a pretty decent memory.
Definalt not something that just anyone can do.
Plus Rez breeds with all of my favorite strains.
And breeds them well.
So the price is worth it.
It's not like Nirvana seeds or something that has no work put into them.
Those are mostly F1's with tons of variation and hermie tendencies.

If you want the best you have to pay for it.

And in the case of the Sour Diesel IBL,which has had more time and work put into it than the Grimms' C99,at the price offered,it's an absolute bargain.
....At the prices people pay for shite "femmd" seeds,the SD IBL is The Deal of the Century.
**Hell,I could have easily done a 'feminised' Sour Diesel Line.
I have all the makings of STS,and it's not difficult to do.
Then,I sell ten 'feminised' Sour Diesel seeds for $250,and when people get shit,reversal-prone plants,I laugh all the way to the bank.

I think (know) that 'femmd' seeds are a 100% waste of time/space/energy.
Male/female,line-bred>to>true breeding is the only system worth a shit.
As much as my critics may disagree,I can tell you as fact,in my case:
Give me any 'elite' clone,and 2-3 years,and I can easily give you that 'elite' phenotype in seed form,in the greater number of females from ten seeds,every singlefuckingtime.
To Sum it Up: 'elites' are 'elites' because they have a dominant trait that's 'unforgettable' to people.
These dominant traits in 'elite' marijuana clones transfer nicely into correct outcrosses,and can easily be sorted out,provided you have an eye for selection and know what the fuck you're doing.
(Mabye I have an eye for it,you tell me....)
Anyhow,there's a bit of insight,into how I do what I do,from a breeder with a stable of Parent Stock that'd make most people shit their pants.
