so basically im looking to use one pump to draw from 3 bloom rezs and one veg rez, so im thinking i will need a sprink manifold and 4valves, on the intake side of the pump and the same for the output side wiring the in and out valves to the same sprink timer lead, use a pump start relay for the sprink timer and should work right?

yea you need a sprinkler timer with a "master valve" or pump relay or what ever they call them these days.

there is usually like a 1 or 2 second delay to let the pump come up to pressure... then it opens what ever solenoids you have programmed.

you could also use a current sensor... sensing power heading to any of the solenoids then powering on the pump from that signal.

current sensors that sensitive are not cheap though... those solenoids only draw like 50 ma... you could loop the the wires through the sensor though depending on how large the sensor is you may or may not be able to loop it enough times to get it to trigger properly and reliably.

im desperately trying to get drainage and watering automated here as i have knee surgery on monday, im panicking on how to handle this work load crippled. helper is in the worx, but would like to simplify as much as i can.

I have already found picos thread on loop manifolds and was thinking of implementing those too

We tried it, and get better yields with one reservoir per tray, all else being equal. Hope that helps.
