1 plant pipe grow

What if you used a 3-4" or larger PVC pipe to grow in. cut it to 2-3 feet and stand it vertically. mount the bulb in the pipe at the top. (42 watt CFL?) This could be good for a SOG grow. PVC is white and reflective.

For pots maybe 16 oz cups or some other tall skinny pot

For improvement you could place a fan at the top pulling air out.

You know, it struck me reading your post, that would be good to try with l.e.d. lights.

No heat to speak of, passive intake and active exhaust at the top, like you said, that would work with a strain thats good for sog.

Dam, you could have a whole room of tubes, humidity controlled, maybe even hydro to make watering easy, and not have any light loss.

Thats a cool idea, wish I had to money to get the round leds. You dont need a cab or anything, its a portable no heat single cola producer.

seems like quite the hassle to create an isolated chamber for each individual plant providing each chamber with its own ventilation, lightsource, the whole 9.

Good idea though, I would have the pvc in 2 peices split vertically to make it easy to assemble/dissamble. would be potentially portable just need some battery operated lights/fans, hah.

i think its enough work to create 1 nice smoothly operating enclosure/atmosphere, I wouldnt want to maintain 20+ different enclosures. wouldnt be as effecient as you initially think.

i think just one 42 watt cfl would be fine. probably wouldn't need a fan because its at the top and the heat will just go out the top.

At first I thought it sounded rediculous, but after thinking about it - I wonder if it could be done? Well, I am sure it could be done, but would it be worth the hastle? Also, could there be a use for this kind of grow that we havn't thought out yet, such as growing under water? I don't know - I am really stoned right now and ideas come to me when I am stoned that sound great at the time, but then when I sober up I wonder what the heck was I thinking. Anyways - it's good to see your thinking 'outside the box' so to speak. Thats the way inventions are created. Try it out and let us know how she works.

I think a mini photo tron style tube, one made for sog only would be cool.

You could shove it just about anywhere, depending on what you need for ventilation, even under a pile of clothes.

Kinda of a plug and forget(except water) clone flowering tube.

Really does take out the need for a special light proof, temp controlled room\cab\space, when your just dealing with individual environments.
