health of BHO and QWISO

I am really mostly interested in the health concerns associated with smoking and /or vaping QWISO hash as has been described on here

made with 91% ISO from rite aide

also info about BHO is good too

(also, on a side note, any health info about this Spirit grain alcohol extraction talked about above would be great too oh yeah and any health info and links to more info about how and what a hexan extraction is and/or is done would also be good)

There's a nuber of threads on here discussing the health hazards. I guess no one feels like repeating them

ditto.

Here is ur summation, :bashhead: :bashhead:

no scientific proof either way. there are plenty of people that smoke both and aren't dying, but the fact that they smoke these things might be making their livers turn orange as we speak. Added filtration seems to amazingly make the product(s) "cleaner."

AS for recipes or procedures, same thing. plenty of opinions and methods. none proven to be amazingly better than the next. remember the Q in QWISO and use the best butane u can get ur hands on. Not the most expensive but the one with the least contaminats. Although i'm sure someone will say the cheap stuff works just as well.

Like i said, there is no scientific proof or record. OG was the closest thing to a record, thru sheer volume. SO do a search and decide. POst the results and let people know what the business is.

There are icmaggers like Hashmasta-kut who have been making and smoking BHO for years, if not decades, and they'll tell you they don't have any side effects or health problems from it.
I've heard that there's less butane in a BHO hit than you would inhale when you use a cigarette lighter to light a cigarette.
Hashmasta-kut might even say that BHO could be healthier than herb, because you have to smoke less of it to get high, and you don't have to inhale all that burned plant matter...
My two cents, just based on anecdotal evidence. But I think if BHO truly had some bad side effects, even ones that took years to uncover, someone would have discovered them by now...

^^True to some extent, but the problem is that often people who use hash use other drugs/aren't necessarily interested in doctors due to the legal status of cannabis in most countries.

do some reading on the melting point of stainless and other stuff like that. what temperature it will break down at. then find out how hot your torch heats it approximately and see what you think. i chose titanium cuz it can take the highest temps without decomposing.

A butane torch like we use is well, well below the melting point so that won't be an issue. Only thing that will eventually happen: the heating over a period of time slowly cooks the carbon out and it will become brittle. That will be something that will take awhile also.

When needed I use a modified "Quick Wash" method. However, I always use Everclear Grain Alcohol. It's distilled with the intent of being ingested into your body. It also makes a great tincture.

If you're concerned about your smoking "tools" and their possible emissions, stick with glass and ceramic. They are the only containers used for heating in labs because of their lack of off-gassing and inert properties.
