Middle of page, left side, "Application and affidavit for a search warrant"

45 pages, complete investigation from start through finish, extremely detailed and thorough, and basically a total and complete "What not to do" as far as op and behavior goes....(Shopping, store surveillance, GPS on vehicles, credit card and financial review of records, etc, etc, etc)

Should be "Growing 101" material........

Its a long read, I read about half, then forget to finish it. Its saved on my desktop. The guy made some mistakes but what started the whole thing was someone snitched on him.

And everything he did helped them make an airtight case....

He didn't make "some" mistakes.....

He made every one there is to make:smoke:...

Dumb question but.....

At what point in a scenario like this does the DEA become involved as opposed to your local sheriff or state police? What things do you have to do to make it a DEA matter?

Depends who picks it up and where it's going....it may be kicked up, or kicked down the ladder, and, it's also protocol I believe for local, county and state to inform DEA about encounters with "major violators"...(Happened to me when younger..)

Lot of cases get referred in and out....all depends where they see it going.....lot of cases available support both....(and as posted elsewhere, sometimes DEA kicking to local because resources strained and local doesn't prosecute because resources equally strained........ie: border issues with smaller amounts...)

what a great thing to read...

about the selling of the house, if i were the one who bought it, i would be doing a search of that land to find all of the money he probably buried somewhere...

Oh yeah....good read....must for all who "dabble" :smoke:...(due to the countless angles of investigation.......)

Yeah, they screen buyers (background, interests, etc...).....same with Tennessee one a while back....(I think that one property was bought by Wisconsin(??) cheese company and cave was going to be used for aging, etc.......maybe wine...something to that effect.....

Yeah...it's a good read, and, I think can help people a lot to see how they work, what they look for, how they look for it, what they do, etc......I read it a while back...(6 months?) was posted somewhere (indoor or outdoor thread....)

Not sure he did from the read....channeled a lot of cash into properties...(the wrong way, the wrong approach, too exposed.....)

Yes and no.....but handing them everything they need all packaged perfectly kind of makes it a little easier :smoke:..

Security measures?......

Let's be honest.....one could talk freely on the phone , one could breach every security protocol that exists......

And nothing would happen....

Security is mostly targeted at preventing them from having what they need in case something does...

Talking on phone?.....not a problem if no one is listening.......
Putting out your trash?.......not a problem unless they're grabbing it.....
Power....credit/financial....travel?.........not a problem unless they start looking into it....

Saw a great line recently:
"What's the first rule?...."

"Don't get caught".

"And what are all the other rules for?"....

"So that I don't get caught" :smoke:.....

I'm very much like that as well, spontaneous ideas/thoughts come from teh tiniest little day to day things :joint:

But yeah definitely very interested, christ the outdoor thread prompted me to register after i got about 10 pages deep.

Keep on going man, we all appreciate it.

(Indoor was good too, but, had to kill handle and delete all posts....was just gettin started :badday:....)

Wait till the Outdoor II one though :smoke:..

Guarantee something few have ever seen...

Yeah....not a bad way to be.....draw something from everything....anything....anytime.......then possibly take the smallest of things in different directions.......

Too many people settle on what they know (or think they know) and go no further......
