that is some efficient growing. I wonder how many gallons those reservoirs are. 12 inches deep and almost 300 plants in each of those squares!

i love watching how it's made on discovery while completely stoned...its the best show ever.

I would love to have a stadium-sized hydro setup

I love how it's made also, really cool show if you like [ractical science. Those thin floats don't work well with mari, ya need thick icebergs.

haps have you tried it with weed? have any pics? iceberg?

i saw online another how its made, but i dont think it was the US version, different narrator, etc. anyway, it was about mass producing food-grade mushrooms...very impressive stuff! just google "how its made mushrooms" in google video. i didnt want to link to a site other than youtube, so just search!

Iv seen that on Tv many times and to be honest its not impressive (I myself prefer the NFT method) but in contrast I hate lettuce and almost all vegetables (I more into fruit trees and only have a few peppers).

AB - That is a picture of herb floating above. My bucket and tubbler floats were 3-5 inches thick. Did three crops this way a couple years ago.

Interesting stuff,
My gf's father used to be in that business, and it got him thinking, and from thinking while growing lettuce he had the bright idea of growing something a little more profitable with all his equipment. Something we all grow here.

i hear ya on that sheriff. screw the lettuce. lol. that's a lot of weed i saw too. imagine all the hash you could get. makes me think some scientist could put together some marijuana IV bags lol.

take the dripper control out please. just let it flow! lol

seriously tho. i found a spot that sells the IV tubing online. would it be a bad idea to rig those to connect to some GH 3-part series. definitely a cheap way to control nutrient delivery lol! just let them hang above the rez connected.
