My Lowryder seeding project.

Hi!

Here is short pictured grow report of my Lowryder seeding project.

I have started project over two months ago and I'm nearly finished planning to give my hemps General Hydroponics Ripen as boost for finishing seeds..

I grow in soil under 400W HPS. Soil I have about 30l for one plant now. I have given my plants: Bio Roots, Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Alc-A-Mic, Topmax and Co2 tablets. And a lot of these :D

I kept lights 24h on until I saw plants really flower and turned to 12/12 lights for saving some money in electric charges.

One of the most interesting point in my growing is that one of my Lowryder males turned to female during pre-flowering (I believe that was because of giving Bio Roots). Also one of females got some male flowers same time, but I take them off and no new ones came up. That male turned to female is still female :)

I also have one Ruderalis Indica growing and its pollunated too with Lowryder pollen. In first pics there were two Ruderalis Indica females but I did not see sense to grow two of them, so I gave other away. The one what is left is selected from several Ruderalis Indicas as fastest flowering one.

In first pictures there are also Lowryder males what I cutted after getting some pollen from them.

This is my first project as seeding whole plants and I have made some mistakes during project, but fortunately nothing too bad :)

Here we go illustrated (sorry for poor quality of pics):

20.09.04 I decided to separate males and females because plants looks like grow bigger than I tought. Males injured by that operation. They were in same soil as females and I tought it was better to hurt males than females. Also my separating was not very good :p

All plants and some maturest preview seeds of them on same order as plants

This is a kind of shorten version of diary I have been making in finnish language.

Questions and comments are welcome :)

Finally I got this updated. Sorry for my lazyness.

8.11.04 I cutted all plants, put them between newspapers for separating seeds from different plants and started to weed them.

9.11.04 Looked like that:

10.11.04 I first time smoked Lowryder and was very happy about the high, very euforic with clear mind without tripping. Stuff I most smoked then was somekind of fingerhash from weeding. Lately I have not been so pleased of high from seeded buds, but still believe in Lowryder high :)

Few days later I also smoked Ruderalis Indica and was upset of high what was a more stronger that I expected. Very much body high with some dizziness and high blood pressure. Maybe not good for beginners or those who get some bad moods by smoking sometimes.

16.11.04 I got all plants weeded. Result in selected seeds:

6760 of Lowryder (shortest: 1620, ex-male: 1900 and tallest: 3240)
1540 of Ruderalis Indica X Lowryder

Also I got some smokeable budstuff..

Lowryders had a lot of immature and green seeds. Especially riddling of seeds from longest Lr was a quite hard job.

I did not pollenate Ruderalis Indica as good as I try pollenate Lr's and so I was surprised for count of seeds from it. Seeds were hiding inside buds and almost all seeds, even greeny ones are strong as stone.

Lowryder plants grow in height about 65-90 centimeters, which I think is more than ordinary Lowryders. Longest plant looked and felt a bit like sativa in my mind even its not told that Lowryder has any sativa in its genetics..

Person who sold me Lowryder seeds told me mother plants were about 30 centimeters. I'm wondering if I had more of light and root space which maybe made plants bigger.

I also flowered like non-autoflower plants after I seen flowering was getting faster in 24h lights, but did not care of stressing plants by turning lights on by nights sometimes and that did not do anything bad to plants. Only root stress in beginning of flowering stressed two of Lowryders (shortest and ex-male). Well, I'm not sure about these things..

Seeds will not be available for sale because it could be illegal in our country to sell seeds and also I have not done anything special for Lowryder. Just duplicated them for myself. I tought at the beginning of project that I would get few hundreds of seeds for my own future uses, but things gone a little better than I tought :)

Happy new year to everyone!
