OG Bx1 F2's from JLP

JLP was nice enough to pass 6 of these seeds along to me awhile back. Out of the 6, 5 germ'd, wound up with 2 males and 2 females. I was flowering the males in isolation to collect pollen, but high temps have shutdown my veg/isolation area for the time being so they got scrapped. Here's the 2 females, day 32 of flower. 1/2 gallon square pots of coco, handwatered once a day with canna coco a+b, pk 13/14 and hygrozyme.





Smell can only be described as 'delicious'. This is my first kush, so I have nothing to benchmark it against, they have been slightly sensitive to nutes and stress but are doing great now. The single cola girl is very short, about 17" tall, but eats more nutes than anyone else in the cabinet. The topped one looks like it will yield quite well for a 1/2 gallon pot in a sog, but does'nt have quite the same quality smell and resin output as the runt. I purposley left all the lower growth on these untrimmed, I am hoping to re-veg them after harvest to a point where I can get some good cuts of each. Thanks JLP! Looks like killer herb my friend, you were VERY lucky yo get those beans I hope you know. But if OG kush is clone only could you explain exactly how these seeds were made, I am very interested (if you know).

You never know but, make sure you take cuttings as both of those look like kepers :smoke:

EDIT: yes definatley reveg those man...

I know the OG used was sugenite's, i'm not sure what he used for the Bx though. Anytime I tried to do some research on it in the past the search function only led me to threads where suge and others were busy trashing each other so I gave up on it. If anyone knows the mystery parent from the bx, please let me know. Thanks for the kind words Kinderfeld, I will be keeping both of these around for as long as I can :joint:

Sugenite OG Kush BX1 lineage


The OG Kush cut is a very low yeilder with a strong pine, fuel, lemon, kush smell and very smooth and very tastey pine kush taste. Very comforting, creative, social type high with some body. The longer allowed to mature the stronger it gets.A Sativa dominat NL/OG Kush Male was used to pollinate the OG cut to make these BX1`s. The OG/NL F1`s had better potency than the og cut and most a better yeild.There were variations in bud structure and type and strength of smell but the most sat dom pheenos had a very strong fuelly pine kush smell and taste.Very strong and tastey. I would expect the BX to decrease the yeild but to improve the kush qualitys. Untested. Good Luck

Nice plants SuperNuck.

Yeah,I used Suge's OG Bx 1 to make the seeds,I've grown several of the f2 and they finish around 55-65 days,some plants yeild better but they're still pretty small and squatty usually.

Yield is nice, but I will take quality 10 times outta 10. Even if I max out @ an ounce between the two of them, that will last me well into the fall. I've got wonder haze, limon, white rhino x black kush and a couple lemon stinkies in the cab right now as well, so overall, I'm not too worried about the final weight! This is my first time doing higher amounts of smaller plants but I am fairly optimistic about getting close to a pound under 600W out of 18 plants total. With that much weight, I will be curing half of this to use as christmas presents!

a few pics from today, more once i get a chance to resize etc.. day 46




This is the smaller untopped one, getting fairly stinky. I have my fingers crossed because I am fighting with humidity right now and this thing is the hardest, tightest bud I have ever seen. I can't even move anything enough to check for mold so we'll see what happens, I chopped down 2 stragglers to free up some airspace in the cab and things seem a little better. More pics later :wave:

Looks killer, the buds look larger, and more pointed than the bubba and origonal og i have seen. Looks like you got it down with the cana

Great job there SuperNuck. Looks like you've got them down to a T. It's great to see pics of these going. I have a couple of suge's og bx1 going right now and have been looking around for other references. Mine are coming along nicely, very lemony, strong (fuely?) smell. I can't wait for them to finish up. I hope you don't mind the pics, lmk and I'll delete them.

Hi Slips :wave: There has to be some NL influence in there somewhere still, these do not look 100% similar to alot of the kushes I have seen online. I think the smell may be close to what it's supposed to be, it is very strong and I understand now what people mean when they say 'fuel' in regards to smell, very interesting! The other one in the pics above has alot more lemon and less fuel in the smell and is nowhere near as dense. Thanks for stoppin in!

Those pics are great krome, how old are they in those? I know what you mean on the strong/fuel odor, my shorter one is really pumping it out.

I think I took the picture on the 46-47 day mark. They are on day 52. I'll get a couple updated pics tomorrow. How long do you think you're going to let yours go?

krome - how are yours looking now? right now I am looking at trying to get them down at 58-60, the topped one just started putting on a little more weight and the untopped ones bottom half is filling out more now that i have propped it up to about an inch form the hood. My brothers wedding is right on my harvest window though, so they may go all the way to 60-62 with the limon I am running right now, I'd rather be later than early.

weaterdayz - the smell is getting progressivly stronger, my vaportek showed up today in the nick of time, my scrubber is aging and not fairing well against the girls at all! The fuel smell is becoming much more pungent on the short one, the untopped one still has a good deal of lemon/citrus to it.

solo - thanks for stopping by :wave: I am very eager for a smoke report too!

kinger - the shorter untopped one may go about 3/4's of an ounce, it's a small plant, but it's thick and as dense as can be head to toe and the sample i quick dried the other night fucked me up! Some of the best smoke I have ever had, I have'nt been that high in a decade probably and it was'nt even the potency that made it so great, it was the most 'quality' high I have had in possibly ever, i am seriously stoked about this little plant! The topped one may wind up yielding an ounce or so, it has started to fill out all of a sudden quite nicely on all 3 main tops. If I had cleaned up the lower half of it properly like all my other plants it would probably be doing even better, but i left plenty of popcorn on both of these to make it easier to re-veg them. Boristheblaze - I have some more pics on the way, i will have a chance to get them up this wekend once i polish off some homework. I lucked out and have some of the OG x SD coming as well, I can't wait to see what happens when you cross what I have infront of me right now with what JLP deems to be a keeper sd, should be fantastic:jump:
