Serious Seeds back...however

I see that Serious Seed beans are back. However all distributors are now selling 10 beans to a pack instead of 15. Anyone have any info on this?

hmm times are changing in holland.. i was lucky enough to get the Ak & bubble'gum as they were 15seed/pack
i saw that sensis 15 packs are now also 10 ...crappy dutch stuff.. it's time to make some own beans :wink:

I dont suppose they lowered the price along with the seed count ? LOL Ya sure they did HA HA HA HA and there goes one of those flying pigs..........

10 seeds per pack is sort of cheap IMO. That being said I just ordered another pack of AK.

another company turning from 15 to 10 with no price change,what about from 15 to 12 it wouldnt be so bad

Yeah, I got 17 in my last pack from Shanti. Serious are one company I;ve never heard anything bad about, sad they are changing.

Simon is 1 of my very few favourite breeders too. Hard to say why he's following the Dronkers way. Maybe he has lost too many locations and crops in these years though I don't think he's becoming poor.
Gotta ask to DG if Sensi is selling well after they reduced the seeds per pack of 1/3.

yes hopefully price goes down with seed amount......i want sum packs....hope the quility is the exellent and the same....plz no suprises....need sum more serrious seeds.HH.

Dude you guys must not know much about business. If you claim after I post this that you do and disagree with what I'm about to say then your just lying.

Uhh about 10 years ago how many big seed companies were there? Now how many are around today? Hmmm, A LOT more. Competition and therefor lack of demand brings profits down, maybe up to 33%, so if you cut your products quantity by 1/3 your going to be making the same amount again.

You cant call these guys greedy, they have a lot of problems to think about.
1) Creating new strains.
2) Getting busted and having legal fees
3) The possibility of not being in business next year

All of ^^ those factors make it so they need to make a lot of money in a quick amount of time. Whats the business-lifespan of a crack dealer? 2 years or so, so theirs a reason he needs to make a bunch of money quick. Same with most weed dealers/growers. They could grow all their lives and make like 50k a year off of it or they could make 500k a year off of it for a couple years. :2cents:

I dont really have a problem with it, however it was kind of a suprise. I have grown out the WR and germed only 5 seeds out of 15. 4 were females and kept 2 mother plants for clones. I just hope the quality stays the same.

could it have anything to do with the low stock lately, seems they were out some strains for awhile so mabey they lowered the count to get the seeds in more people hands. just a thought.
