Aurora Indica and Ice, First grow

I'm a newbie, sorta. This is my first grow with store bought seeds.

I have 2 AI and 2 Ice that are in 5th week(Day 30) in these pics. The Ice and AI in back are 4 feet tall. I veg'd longer than I wanted because of problems. The front AI and Ice are about 38-39 inches.

I'd love for experienced growers, especially those who have grown out these two strains, to feel free to comment opr advise. Maybe potential yield? I have no clue.

obli-great job so far on your first grow!! they look very healthy and also like they are vigorous<is that a word?> growers. ive never grown either strain, however i believe they both have northern lights in thier gene pool, so you should see lots of swelling between day 30 and 45. (in my exper. with nl strains) you are going to have some ffaaaatttt colas!!!!!!! great job!

Nice job, by the way X-mas is coming and I want an 8 of that Ice........thanks in advance Santa.....Oh yeh by the way X-mas is right after you harvest, dry and cure, with my religion............LOL... I doin't really have anything to compare Ice to. Resin production looks good so far. I guess we'll have to see how it does over the next month or so. I'll keep pics up here

Ice4 Day 31 Flower This is Ice4's secondary cola. The plant always was asymetrical



AI5 Day 31 Flower Look at how the light reflects on this girl!!!!!!!! A lil overexposed but I love it!


AI5 Day 31 Flower More normal exposure. I love looking at her leaves. Something almost erotic about weed leaves to me :sasmokin:

Day 36 of Flower

I watered/fed this morning. 3 teaspoons of FF BeastieBloom to 4 gallons of water. Also fed them black strap (unsulphured) molasses for first time.

Plants are nice and green, healthy, but buds not putting on weight yet. Main colas on all are about 6 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. I hope they grow some more in the next few weeks :(

I've grown the Ice before and you're on the right track. yield of 1/2 gram per watt is pretty good,

i am liking the Aurora Indica.. mine tasted like berries with a sweet and hashy taste. good stuff! keep on that Ice, I for one would like to see how it turns out, brother...

The one AI#2 is looking skimpy compared to its sister. Is that just a phenotype difference ya think?

Check out these pics from the girls' bedtime tonight :woohoo: I used different lighting, actually 6400 lumens of CFL

I love getting fucked up like tonight and standing in my grow, looking at my plants. The leaves are an impossibly beautiful green. The way those big fan leaves just seem to "reach out" just fucking blows me away. The way that frosting covers more of the leaves every day. Oh man........ :joint:

These girls starting to look like women now IMO. I'm feeling good about them, but I'm just an old fuck having some fun growing weed!!! What do y'all think?

First up is Miss AI #5. I just smoked some of her tiny lil lower buds(picked day 35) and have a pleasant buzz...my head is "ringing". Won't last real long but still for this early :joint: That is her tall (48+ inches/120cm) cousin Ice#2 behind her :sasmokin: Gonna smoke somma her shit tomorrow.

I took a number of shots at Miss Ice#4. Flash and no flash. And with a tape measure so you can see size of her cola at this point.

Nice cola going. The cola you see in front of AI#2 in the background is Ice#4's other big cola. She didn't have a branch on the other side of that lower node. It's nearly as big as her main cola.

This gives you an idea of Ice#4's main cola. Only day 37. I can't wait to see it 3-4 weeks from now!!! I'm thinking the whole top foot or so of main stem will be one huge fucking cola. How heavy and thick will it be? Zeus!!! You may be right my man!!

Hey Mr James:

Actually my bagseed grows didnt do all that well. They were 20+ years ago though.

I bought my seeds from BuyDutchSeeds.com Look at the floowing thread for some discussion on that source. The honest answer is I don't know if they came from Nirvana itself. BDS says not, but their ads say they do. I emailed them to clarify that issue.

My advice is : If a deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is

I see a lot of unhappiness with some of the seed sources on here
