Just thought i'd share my home made keifer. Its pretty simple...A mason jar and micron screen...

I might even use different size screens to get fine grades of hash....

Cool...I'm glad you guys like it..

Kurly, yeah i ordered 2 different size meshes. works great!

Sometimes i put somthing in the jar like a couple dimes or something, just to help shake things around alittle more...

That is also a great idea! It would help keep the trichomes contained, and less likely to be thrown around anywhere you do not wish them to be.

Nice DIY thread.

You can shake it on your pizza.....yum yum
you know actually that is a great idea. If you took two lids and taped them together then you can just screw them both on with a screen on one and presto instant trich collector.

Dude I just tried this real quick and what a cool idea!

i do the same sorta thing,but i use a metal biscuit tin,i stretch my screen across then put the lid on,it keeps the screen tight and when you finish you just takethe lid off holding it upside down and all your kif is in the lid

I use the same method.Cept I put a small handful coins in the jar.I shake it over a glass cake pan. It works very well.Take care...BC

we've done that for years with a jar and a nylon...stretch it real tight across the jar lid and it seemed to work real good, and yea a coin or two helps

Mrs. Babba yeah i used to do that too...before keif boxs where popular, it was basically the only dry kief device i knew of...take my moms old nylons and cut em up..lol

But yeah, nylons work great..

too late, pollinator company have been selling em for years... i was give one a couple of years ago by my local headshop.... it worked great.
Theirs is plastic and has a shallow cup on the bottom to catch ur resin...i used to get 0.5- 1 gram out of it. In the uk its called the hash maker, in europe its called the Polm shaker...

nice trick, I used to do that kind similar setup when I was y ounger with panty hose(new) and a mason jar and smoked all the small stuff that came through. It was basically everything and about 25 percent kiff lol, them panty hose let to much green matter through lol. it got me high though.
