i read alot about people freaking out and getting hermies if you revert back from flowering to veg, but many many times over the years ive found a plant i love, but didnt cut clones from. so i let it flower, leave some small fluff air tops at the bottom and re veg the thing after i harvest it...

i have a white widow bonzai mother thats been flowered about 5 times id say...

i just put a orange crush mom into flower for its 2nd time today, i just didnt need cones of it any time soon, but dont want to waste it, they tend to have so many tops that they are crazy when they flower

is this bad? i know of outdoor folks who have trees that are very old, and harvest it every year.. so i figured cant hurt in artificial enviro either right?

I had an Amnesia99 plant that I revegged indoors twice and then the third time I put her outside, she was over six feet outside.

wow u flowered her 6 times. nice. the only thing i think would be a problem with that is how long it takes to reveg so its a bit ineffecient. if you want to keep a plants genetics going just take clones and keep a mum, you will get the same plant, you will be able to grow multiples of the same plant and you will have a quicker turn around between harvests (youll harvest more often).

re-veg is fine if you plan on using the genetics after deciding to flower

obviously clones are quicker but sometimes it just dosent work that way round and you decide to keep after .... I usually do this If I have a very nice smoke which I want to breed

btw 6 times ...how many more lol ?

Peace

A99 doesn't count, she's a superplant that stands above all others and laughs at their weaknesses :biglaugh:

Well, I'm beginning to think so at least, after everything I've put her through, and still had no problems. :chin:

A99, reveged last november, kept veging in a tiny 4-5" pot for 2 months whilst continually cutting back and tying down, and put back under 12/12 on february 7th...

tropical native sativa's are usually the best at revegging, because even though they are annual plants, if their acclimated areas don't have much of a winter or change in light schedule, then the strains may live all year round, year after year. revegging happens naturally in some areas, and the strains used to it reveg best. you can veg and reveg over and over, but some can only do this for so long before they lose their vigor. cloning from moms is the best way, but not necessarily the only way.
