If you would like to see the progress of this lady up to this point, you can check my thread out here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=44531
This definitely isn't a 45 day pheno, I think this one will probably come down around day 60. It is from seed however, so maybe the clones will finish a little sooner. The smell is fairly strong, a mix of grapefruit and something else kind of funky, but hard to describe. Yield is looking like it will be pretty decent, especially if it swells up a bit more in the next week or so. Anyway, on with the show!

I had a pheno of mikado that I used to grow and it was super super tasty. Bubble made out of it is the taste bomb! Looks nice so far!

ethereal, High&Lonesome, ft100, and Scay Beez: thanks for stopping by to check out the show!

T.doT.Toker and A.N.Other: i haven't grown the original mikado, but a friend of mine has, so we'll know in a little while what he thinks about the similarities.

Orange Crush and sznake: smoke report will be coming in a couple of weeks. . .

Capt. Crip: I'm glad to hear that the pics are looking similar to the old ones, hopefully it has that knockout stone and intense flavor!

Legit_User: I agree, leaves aren't fat or wide at all, but it also isn't a pure indica, according to the breeder's description: "Mostly indica. The Mikado is a quick maturing, large-yielding strain that's predominantly Indica, but with a long jagged single leaf with pattern."

I'm still thinking that she's gonna come down around day 58-60, so I'll get a few more pics before the chop, and some nug shots afterwards. I have two clones off this girl that I recently transplanted into 2 gal pots, I'll probably mother one (for at least a round or two) and flower the other once its around 16-20 inches tall. I also still have a clone of a male that looked and smelled pretty much identical to this female until I cut him down 2 or 3 weeks into flowering, so if she turns out real nice I'll probably make some test crosses with the male. Anyway, thanks for stopping by everyone

Well, I had to go out of town unexpectedly for a few days, so I ended up letting this girl go a full 9 weeks. It was a pretty easy trim thanks to the high calyx to leaf ratio, though I had to pick out a few fungus gnats that met their sticky death ;) Here are a few shots from right before the chop, and I'll get a few more dried nug shots when they are ready. Also, stay tuned for a full smoke report in a few weeks. Enjoy!
