Growing/breeding software?

Does anybody know were I can find a software package for breeding plants or horticulture crop management software or something like that. Just a big database program that you can track pants and crops.Nutes , light cycles, growth rate photo profile, genetics, the more info the better.

I found a couple for around 50-75 bucks but would like to look at others

Thanks in advance

That would be nice, and i wouldn't mind looking at it myself. I think its a good idea to keep track of everything like that.
Nice idea TK

Hey TK!

Did you DL that Garden Mgr? Looks nicely designed/organized, and straight forward...

Interesting! I'd be interested in your impressions...

Do you have MJ botany by R.C.Clarke?This is the best book on breeding cannabis, bar none!It doesn't have a whole lot about growing but covers breeding extensively!Every facet of breeding for that matter,,an excellent all-around book!Every cannabis breeder should have a copy at hand!
Great reference tool!Take care.......................CC:wave:

hmm after playing with it a bit, it looks to be a database to keep track of your completed grows... which is still sweet, but not what u are after TK (it doesnt sound like it)

Yeah Capt. I am working my way through it right now but what I am looking for is software that i can use to track the whole process instead of endless journal entries and manual cataloging of information.
So what I am looking for is a database program that I can start at the beginning with each plant and do daily journal entries for one or all of the plants in the process.
Nute logs, growth logs, pics in chronological order under the growth profile, special characteristics whatever.
I was thinking about using dog breeding software and tweaking some of the customizible feilds to get what I what like pedigree layouts and dogs are bred about the same way as plants with linebreeding, inbreeding, cross breeding, outcrossing, trait calculations, lineage, parent stock tracking, a whole lot of shit could be squeezed into those programs.
I just can't believe that there are not more programs outhere, especially with rose growers always doing hybrids and vegetable guys doing the same.

I did down load the cartoony rasta guy one and it's entertaining and would be fun to play with if you only had 3 plants, the lights come of and on on the screen on the same time cycles as your grow room, light hieght moves up and down, teps, humidity etc gauges on the side. Not enough flexibility or scale ability for me.

The one other one i down loaded i can't figure out how to load and launch it yet.

anyways

I'm looking at that Cresent one as well BK that one seems to be the closest I have looked at for what I want.

Let me check these other links though

The Velvet one is cool for tracking conditions of grows and strains but no reports or breeding info. Real cool though, I already put all the ones I am working with now into the program and it's pretty neat stuff.

After reading through everything it can do & considering it's on sale until the 15th. I went with Crescent's The Compleat Botanica. It's too good of an idea, thanks TK!

I could make a decent online database engine for that, and a web interface to add/delete notes to and stuff if you're looking for a free route, it'd just take me a bit to design a functional layout and get the database tables set up.

let me know

I went with Crescent's The Compleat Botanica & it kicks ass! My comp flaked out, so I need to re-install.
