Couple of questions about AN and GH

Is 8ml micro/ 16ml bloom the same ppm for both GH and AN, or is one higher/lower?

Also I know GH 8ml/16ml per gallon gives you 130-106-183-73mg, but how much calcium is it giving you? I know it should be double the mg, but does anyone know the exact # it gives you on 8ml/16ml?

The Lucas formula was intended to be used with GH 3 part. AN 3 part is an almost exact copy of the GH formula. The Bottles read identically in the gaurenteed analysis chart. This is why I feel safe to use Lucas Formula with AN 3 part. So far I am having great success. There are many users of AN 3 part who use the 3 part at "non recomended" dosages, such as 3-2-1, 1-1-1, 1-2-3... which happens to be a GH bottle recomended program. 1-1-1 throughout bloom results in a very low EC, with higher ratios of Nitrogen than is recomended by community consensus... not to mention P and K at relatively low rates for a bloom cycle. But I guess that is why AN sells supplements to their (lacking) 3 part (1-1-1) program... Hammerhead, Bigbud, Overdrive.

the 0-8-16 formula hits Mel Franks targets for cannabis. (100-100-200-60 goal for NPKMG) Without the necessity for "Bloom Boosters." Essentially, what is a bloom booster but more P and K (Su/Mg). All of these elements are contained in the 3 part's Bloom bottle.

The PPMs with 0-8-16 with AN and GH are slightly different.

AN used at 0-8-16 ml/gal will result in a higher PPM than GH used at 0-8-16. Nothing worth writting home about however... difference of perhaps 100-120ppm. No big deal.


I am using 0-8-16 with both an and gh 3 part currently.

Neptune, do you use just 8/16 or do you use additives with your GH?

I decided to play with GH and bought some Micro and Bloom bottles the other day. I want to do just 8/16 in rockwool or hydroton ebb flow with nothing added.
