Hey everyone, I'm a few days late with this, but now the pics are ready. I started out trying to get some shots with the plants under the HPS lights, and the photos sucked, so decided to take the time to do better.

These represent 3 different phenos I got from 5 Federation Seeds Hawaiian X Island Sweet Skunk (ISS). There's been some recent interest in their Hawaiian Sativa, as well as the ISS, so I thought I'd put these up.

Federation says this is the cross of the Hawaiian Sativa and ISS, a 9 week hybrid, "both large and potent."

The 3 females were all fairly different, with faint tropical odors - the 2nd pheno has the strongest smell, pineapple sort of. These photos are all showing 65 days of flowering - you can see the differences in maturity in the 3rd pheno.

I'll do the 1st pheno in this post, and follow with pics of the other 2. This is the shortest - but prettiest.

Man that stuff looks like it's going to be killer. I've been searching high and low for the H.S. right now. I really like the look of the sativa dom pheno , looks superb.

The Hawaiian Sativa is 1 ellusive lady at present..
I have been searching high and low with no luck..
I wish I has ordered them when they were pletiful..But I can say that about a lot of strains...

The photos above look very nice and you can certainly see the HS in the plants..That 3rd pheno should be a rocket!!!Heavy sativa shining through it that sweetheart!!
I hope they turn out really potent for ya...Be sure and do a smoke report when you get finished with your grow...Lots of folks would appreciate it I'm sure..

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely work up a smoke report once the buds are ready. mangled - I'm keeping a cutting of that 3rd pheno, but she's about six feet tall, 2.9m, straightened out - so a little tall for an indoor plant.

Had a friend help with a scent sampling yesterday - decided the first one is slightly skunky, with a hint of fruitiness; the second has a tropical tutti-fruti smell; and the third is getting a strong piney odor.

The third one seems to be everyone's favorite - with the strong sativa look. It'll be 3 - 4 weeks before that one's ready, but the others will come along sooner.

Very nice man, like witchking i have been searching high and low for HS also. After looking at your thread, i think i may go with this cross. I like the sativa pheno the best (as do most people on this thread lol). I'm very interested in seeing how they turn out.

EDIT: i noticed in the genetics cookbook thread, that JOTI's version of I.S.S, the makeup of the strain says grapefruit X skunk #1. Is federation's version the same makeup?

Just a quck update:
Number 1 plant is curing now, look for a smoke report in about a week.
Numbers 2 and 3 are still growing. A few more days on the second one before harvest.
Still gonna be a while for the third one, but she's looking better all the time!

Mmm they all look great, especially the sativa. Those pics of her made my mouth water. Can't wait to see her when she gets closer to harvest.

I heard that HS is like cocaine without the bad buzzing...real energy weed. He probably can't sit still enough to update. i have some pure Federation HS that I will pop in my next grow starting in march. Can't wait! Will grow it with some sugarwarp , and I eventually want to cross it with the high energy Bangi Haze.

this was one of my favorite plants of all time!!!

i grew this out years ago and grew it out next to alot of other strains and it really stood out!
one of the plants that grew next to it was juicy fruit from sensi and dj's blueberry.

the hawaain sat x iss had a super sweet lemonade smell and taste !
the high kicked ass over blueberry!
very simalar high to the juicy fruit!

i guess because of the sativa aspect of those 2....

the high lasted a good while but i couldnt stop smokin it due to the taste and potency,,,, high did hace a ceiling but it was up there,,, you would feel it rise on the first toke! very heady and laughter inducing!
i smoked blueberry and was not impressed but whan i tried this stickyicky i was really high !!! i remember thinking "now thats weed" !!!!

the blueberry was a beauty but very mild as i have a tolerance that only permits the best of the best!!!

i would like to see this offered again by federation!!!
c'mon ziggy!!!!!! we want it!!!!

i have found federation of top quality in the same regard as people view the newer breeders with the top genetics!

these plants also stretched a little but were very christmas tree like in growth,,, the buds arent dense but the high is a really nice sativa fun high!

I have cloned the H.S. pheno out of my H.S. X Celestial Temple Sativa and this pheno is identical to the 3rd pheno shown on page 1. It is a keeper for sure. This hawaiian volcano is growing large and high, even under 2 X 26 watt CFL. No problem, if it is too tall for my closet, I will do the same thing as I did with her mother. Bent it. Response to benting is excellent. Awesome Sativa high, no ceiling!
