7 GDP and 8 Urkles. GDP had 1 month veg and Ukle had 2 months. FFOF soil w/ perlite and other goodies added in 3 gallon pots in a 3x6 tray. 2 600w hps in super sun hoods. Fed PBP and LK every 3rd watering. CA med grow.

nice grow man, How would you compare the veg rate between the GDP and Urkle? From What I read GDP is suppose to be faster then Urkle.

GDP is much faster than Urkle but still slower than all other plants. I've both and like the GDP more for grow and smoke reasons. This is Urkles last run most likely.

Lookin good Shmokin. At what height did you flip them into flower? And how many of each do you have flowering?

7 gdp and 8 urkles. GDP was about 15-18 inches. It's stretched alittle bit more I think than the Urkle. The urkle may have shrunk an inch or two. j/k

hahahaha too funny well to each his/her own i guess, if i could keep clone or mothers i would never let my urkle go never...i will hopefuly get a chance to run the GDP soon enough.....

SHMOKIN, thank you my friend and yes they are beautiful :yoinks: ....

i'm running them under 8oow 4 of mh and 4 of hps, growing them in soil useing GHthree part flora ferts......today is day 41 of flower and i just wattered them this morning and added 1/2 teaspoon od koll-bloom and 1/2 teaspoon of black strap per gallon of water........

ummm yes we are going purp with the urkle this morning...here is my fav shot of the urkle so far, took this shot just about an hour ago....






this is another good shot i think....




cant belive your not going to keep her around :yoinks: .....my yield should be pretty good, and one of my urkles is very heavyly seeded with the pollen from a very nice strawberry diesel and she is still putting out some nice buds....
you should reconsider :chin:

I haven't killed the mom yet. She will get flowered out when my GDP mom gets big enough. The GDP is better in all aspects as a grower and as medicine. My opinion is subject to change though. I may want to seed her as well. I was thinking of using Swt #3 or maybe a nice Sativa.

well i cant say anything about the GDP i have not smoked or grown it but would like to do both hahahaha......

i have read different opinions on the compaireson(sp) of the two, most i know prefer the urkle over the GDP in the potentce department...but we all know how its grown and by what talent the said grower has does play a huge roll in how the two match up with one anoter....

i will try the GDP one of these days then i can deside for myself which i think is better....ummm but by the way this urkle is looking and smell the GDP is going to have to bring the big guns to out do this urkle.....

hummm sweetthooth#3 that could be nice, if you do that good luck with the seeds my friend...

Good thread! Can't wait to see how they flower next to each other. I've got 2 GDP's next to some urkle at day 12 or so of veg and they are the same so far...


I'm guessing it's gonna be a progressive thing because the mother GDP is growin faster as she gets older... faster than the urkle mom so things may change in a few weeks :confused:

I'll be checkin out the show :lurk:
