SourD Bx2 X Leonidos#3 testing grow

Hello Everyone,

Here are the first testing grow of the cross between the SourD Bx2 male i selected in a KarmaG seeds pack and my keeper Leonidos#3.

Leonidos is a cross between Napoleon Haze#3 and a dosidos (herm flower)

"During a flower run, I noticed some male flowers already open on the Dosidos (herma). The pollen flew up on my 2 phenos selection of Napoleon Haze #3 and #4.

I was initially disappointed to see open male flowers in my Dosidos but later I told myself that if there are seeds in my Napoleon Haze I would sow them to see if he could come out of good cross because the two mother are super keeper plant!

Right now i can say that iam very happy with the result of this "natural" cross and i already find a name for this cross.

Leonidos It is a combo between napoLEON haze & dosIDOS

I grow 11 seeds of this cross to make a pheno hunt (9 Leonidos and 3 Lemonchello) 7 seeds was female, 3 males and 1 hermaphrodite.

The full lineage is :

[(Super Silver Haze x Amnesia) x Dosidos] x SourD Bx2

I make this testing grow with 12 seeds to see if i can find a good personal male for future X project and hope for a keeper 50%SourD-50% Leonidos#3.

On this 3 macro pictures we can clearly see the little hair, it is the cystolythic trichomes, the first trichome that appeart on the hypocotyl, cotyledon and on the first leafs (specially on the underside). These non glandular trichome have a role on the tranpiration of the plants, controle the temperature and certainly a defense against predators...

On the 2 pictures below we can clearly see the capital sessile trichomes. It is a trichome with a very short stalk (a single cell stalk) and is role is against predators. She come very early on the cotyledons and on the first true leafs and continue up to the buds...

Happy that your are in Mr Brunch, the mother is a beautiful plant, a keeper selected on 11 seeds. She are a perfect mix between the two parents. And the color come from the dosidos ;-)

First feeding with the BioGrow from GreenHouse Powder Feeding at 3gr/ltr of substrat. Just after that, i watering each seedling with the Ehancer.

This is a 100% organic grow and i see before that the expression of each pheno are at this best with this BioFeeding compare with the mineral line.

Amazing how these Sour Leonidos seedlings are already white!

Many capitale sessile trichome at the early stage is a good sign or not? Personally, i think it is a good thing :)

I top all the 12 plants at the 4 nodes and waiting for sexing. Right now iam very happy with the vigor and the structure of the phenos. Some of them have really nice laterale branching like the SourDbx2 Father. In this way, i think that the topping will help a little more, we will see in a few days...
