Ok, space buckets are usually in 5 gallon buckets and have at LEAST 50w, usually more like 75w, so you get something that's much bigger and you only have 24w?

I don't even know why you have to change so many things from what others are doing.

ok, so you suggesting that i need more light power here. Wouldnt it be like a certain lum that i should be targeting. Infact I have a single 100 watt led that i could put in later, i thought it was quite bright for this setup. It outputs to abt 9000 lum.

I'm changing when i find fault with my existing setup. Can you like elaborate as in the changes i made, You see at this stage i don't have a definite direction as to what kind of grow I should do with this setup.

i wanna know whats the best option for a setup like this, where i need everything on auto and basically placing the bucket under lock and key and undisturbed for atleast a month or 2.

what do you suggest?

From what i read the 100 w single led would be good for it. 12500 LM total for the bucket. so im going for it soon.

I need a bit of help in deciding how to go about further, as in hempy style, dwc or potting soil in the bucket,

as this is the purpose i want to achieve.

This drum / bucket, after planting i intend to automate most of it, or provide everything upfront and seal it of for 2 - 3 months after the scrogg, say till flowering. There will be 2 pc fans also for intake and output. Ill make it as silent as possible. I can also add in an airstone if needed.

I don't wanna open it no more than 3 - 4 times during the entire grow period.

So I'm looking for something that could / would naturally grow within this environment, a set and forget kinda system as i wanna seal this off deep inside an underground cave. a defunct well. So I guess DWC is a No No..

As for monitoring the progress, inside the bucket, i will be placing 2 ipcams inside the bucket (side & top view) connecting to my wifi network, (a hack with 2 old smartphones) So I can see the progress in my pc, smartphone, or even online.

Pls do let me know your suggestions and ideas for a perfect zero maintenance stealth grow.

This is the 100 W led I have: cool white
http://www.ebay.in/itm/100W-High-po...-Bulb-Light-Day-White-Brand-new-/231677257150
8000-9000 lums

Also planning to go for this set:
http://www.ebay.in/itm/5-pcs-10W-wh...d-Chips-bulb-light-lamp-DC9-12V-/121732203959
each 800 - 900 Lm

what is the opinion about these lights?

I was under the impression that, regardless of the wattage, plants are looking for more lums. As it is known that a 10 W led gives much more light than a 15 W CFL. So on what basis is the wattage calculated then. The 24 w that is implemented now is actually much much brighter than a 100W CFL. Its sure does look brighter and cooler to me, unless there are some other factors im missing out on as in the grow light spectrum.

Pls correct me if Im wrong. Isn't growing in CFL and LED a totally different scenario where wattage should not be technically counted and brightness (lums) matters more.

Dude the seller is making fool.. check the rating in the negative rating he got this comment "not selling original product.'' Also even if you get the original product u need the driver and powersupply for the same. Plus you need to do the DIY. both the link are making fool It will be better if you take this for experiment. Also remember to buy original CFL as people buy Eveready CFL which comes in offer but it has low amp so no use. Better buy havells one..for cfl you have to shell out Rs. 800-1500 better buy trusted brand !!! If you decide to go with led than for experiment buy LED flood light (SINGLE LED FOCUS) of atleast 50-100 watt for 1 plant it will be sufficient but buy a good original quality with warranty. Do visual inspection in the market with different brands (but same wattage) check for LUMEN led and cfl wattage is not important (like in incadesent bulb). for a 50w you might have to shell out 1k-2k (depends). Most you will find chinese in the market. You can get full HPS / MH set for atleast Rs. 2500
