Hello ICer's, I've finally started my grow. I ordered 10 of Ace Bangi Haze and recieved 12 beans. Thanks Herbies and Ace!

So 12 seeds were placed under moistened paper under a humidity dome. After 36 hours 11/12 seeds were put into the soil, and 1 failed to germinate. They went into a Jiffy Organic Greenhouse Starting Mix, today is now day 7. I think everything is looking good. A few weirdos, but every family has those right?

I mist them several times a day with room temp water. I haven't give any supplemental nutrients at this point. Today was their first real "watering." I backfilled around the plants with some more of the starting mix after watering.

I am concerned they might need to be fed before I transfer them to FF Ocean Forest or Light Warrior. I cant imagine they will be in these starter trays much longer than another week.

3/11 of them are the weirdos. One of them suffered injury, when I was (trying to be) being helpful and removed a piece of the seed casing from the sprout, she's doing fine and has recovered to produce leaves. One of them is just short, and the third just hasn't produced its first true leaves yet, instead has what looks like little white hairs coming out where the leaves should be.

Would love to know what you think? Should I go from this to Ocean Forest or Light Warrior? Do they need nutes before transferring? Whats the white hairs?:tiphat:

you should be good on the nutes for another week or so. I have Bangi coming as well. Are you doing indoor or outdoor?
Best of luck in your grow.

hi , is it possible the white hairs are burnt leafs from overnut or no nut from seed? Can you take a clear closer photo?

This will be all indoor, my first grow. Right now I'm vegging under 5000K fluros, I might add a 6500K for some extra wattage, but so far I'm playing it by ear for veg. I will be flowering under 1000W HPS. I expect to veg for maybe 4wk, and flower for 9wk. OFC That will be upto the girls in the end.

I'm not sure if its possible from overnut, but it does now clearly seem to be a burnt / deficient leaf of some form. This Jiffy Professional Greenhouse Starting mix doesnt say what kind of nutrients it does or doesnt have, so I'm not even sure if there are added ferts or not. Its opened up a bit to form a short fat leaf that is round, the next set of leaves have popped as well, so I think she's gonna be fine. It hard to the camera to focus how I want with iPhones autofocus, and thats the only camera I've got at the moment. Maybe you can see better in this newer image, but the new growth looks good.

All is going well, I've had one casualty, she was kinda dragging behind the others for awhile, this morning I found her with a snapped stem, not completely broken. It wasn't from weight because her leaves were very small. I can't think of any injury that caused it, but I transplanted her and reburied her up to the cotyledons. I didn't include her in the pics today, she may or may not make it.

Thanks for the replies and checkin in! Some new pictures. #day9 :dance013:

Most recent pics are Day 8, not 9. (oops)
To be honest this is my first grow, I'm a little paranoid (about their health), seeking validation, does everything look ok here?
For not adding any nutrient does the rate of growth seem good?
Can someone with a little bit more experience chime in?
When should I transplant?

I know soon or they'll be crowding for light in the tiny tray and, I was thinking Day 11.
Should they go into their final containers then or another intermediate?

They look good so far. Just chill out and let them do their thing. When u transplant bury
that stem at least half way in the soil it will grow roots.

Having some issues with laptop so I haven't been on ICMag much lately plus busy with work and life. Started exercising again after two years of being sedentary. Unrelated but explains delay since update. So Day 20 is here. After transplanting from the starter pots into solo cups around day 12, things are going well. I water when the cups feel light and they seem to be doing well. I am gonna have to add more light soon I think, but then again I only planned to veg. for 4 weeks. So that is only about another week. If I'm switching to flower next week 1kW HPS then I might not bother with adding more fluro light. They seem alright, a few deformities here and there but I think they'll out grow it. Here are some pics I snapped today, the cat was smelling the plant and I captured this pic with her tongue out lol.

I had to interrupt the plants light cycle today due to a surprise inspection. They're going to be in about 12 hours of darkness today, it's day 24, should I just flip to flower 12/12 and bring out the HPS ? I had planned to veg for only 4 Weeks. Can I please get some advice??

Yes I would do the flip. The one interruption in light cycle is not going to hurt your plants though. I am recommending to flip to 11/13 light cycle so that you can control the height. These plants will stretch in flower and you would be surprised how quick they can become unmanageable.

Your plants look great! Looking forward to seeing the outcome!

Although of you are not in a hurry you could top the plants to encourage a more busy growth habit. It depends on space. When I grow a new strain out for the first time I do not top or train, I like to see the natural growth habit, so I know what to do next grow with it. Either way works, if you have time, top and grow bushes for yield, if in a hurry flip to flower. :)

what Lester said is good advice. Indoors your not so much limited by ceiling height but by distance from your bulbs. The lower buds will be smaller as the overall plant gets taller.
if that makes sense.

Right now, I am 11 days into flowering. 6 Weeks 6 Days Total Since Mar 29.

Yesterday, I took out 5 males. I think I have six females, but a couple of them it still might be too soon to tell.

They are smaller than I wish they were right now, but I its also a good thing since I have had two inspections by the city for some bull crap certificate.

Probably post pics about two more weeks into flowering near the end of stretch.
