Mediumless Flood & Drain - 1200w SOG

So, I've got a little space now to put these little SOG lids back in use. I've held them for a while, but have only ran one once.

I'm thinking 2 600w w/ adjust a wing mediums. Footprint pretty much the 3x6 space the trays will take up. Not sure if heat would be an issue though. This will be in an upstairs laundry room so it'd be nice to just cool using the 4" dryer port already there. I supposed I could window box if need be, but I'm trying to keep it minimal/easy.

I'm just itching to play with these lids to try to net 72 perfect colas with the right strain flipped immediately after rooting. 2lb in 2 months w/ no veg room? 2.5lb?

I need to pick a strain to try running these again.

More pics to come. I'll be moving out the washer/dryer this weekend and hopefully can slap something nice together for ya'lls eyeballs.

No cuts in the oven yet so this might be slow moving at 1st, but this will be my build/grow diary as things progress.

1200w Mediumless 3'x6' SOG - 72 plants
Stay tuned!

I've done a bit of mediuless in the past and love it (SWC w/ net cups & neoprenes). These lids eliminate the cups and neoprenes. Cuts drop in.. rooter only. No mess.. no nothin'. Just roots, nutes, water, & air.

These lids are American Hydroponics Gro-well Inserts. They are 3x3 and have 36 1.5 holes per tray. I have a nice square pole stand for one of them, but likely will have to build something to hold them since I've only got 1 and want to run 2 trays here.

I believe they are discontinued now.

I'll be flooding 30min every 90min. I'd like to play with a recycle timer in the future to see if I can maximize fuzzy root growth, but we'll see how it goes.
30 min every 90 was worked great for me in the past.. plant health wise/system wise everything worked perfect.
