aussie guerilla grow all ace lineup

Hi guys im new to this forum but frequent another , I joined icmag as im growing mostly ace genetics this year and ace seems to have a strong following here.
This is my 3rd season guerilla growing in australia and iv had massive problems finishing strains because of mould problems , during flower I get rain most days a d 80 - 100% humidy I was reccomended ace genetics to find plants that will finish and I couldnt decide which strain so I bought many

I have 2 oldtimers hazes
9 panamas fem
9 malawis fem
5 nepalese jams fem
4 bangi haze
The days have recently started getting shorter so im expecting flower very soon , pics will be very soon

That's a lovely selection sir. Ace genetics are excellent and you will find a lot of support on this bit of the forum.
The Oldtimers Haze might be a slight issue, it is a long long flowering time, but should be amazing. The Malawi should be massive yields and is absolutely lethal, wonderful stuff.
There are other Ace strains bred for the poo northern Europe climate, some of the more indica ones will probably finish a bit earlier too.
The Erdpurt is especially good for rainy climates apparently.
If in doubt, cut them down early if you have to. Any signs of mould, cut that flower out and anything around it that is affected.
Good luck.

20150106_155809_resized.jpg old timers haze ,this pic is deceiving but this plant is about 2.5 meters tall and wide ,she was started from seed in mid october it has about 100L of soil above ground and 200L below ground

20150106_160334_resized.jpg panama , has been recently topped ,started from seed november

20150106_155309_resized.jpg 4x bangi haze in one massive hole (about 100L of soil above ground and another 100 below ground ,seeds started in novmber

20150106_144725_resized.jpg malawi i love this plant!it has very long flexible branches and long node spacing

iv mixed the first and the second pick up

thanks baron i havnt heard of that strain yet ,il sus it out for next season .i dont get frosts where i am so oldtimers should finish i hope ,unfortunately early strains wont help though as the weather turns wet about now and will continue until april when most strains finish.

Hi lickalot,
that is some list

I agree the mould is a bitch particularly at seasons end,

have you topped them at all to control cola size?

It may be too late on some as you say flowering may initiate soon

May the weather gods be favourable to you:biggrin:

Pulling up a pew
hey mullim
yeah all strains have been topped at least once. Except the bangi haze because there are 4 in one hole. i think alot of my mould problems in previous years were due to plants getting too big for there holes and become nutrient deficient during flower. But that wont be a problem this year as ive used alot of manures and massive holes and iv put my plants out late so they didnt get too big

They look massive fella, good work. There's going to be a good harvest there if the weather holds for you.
The sativa spacing will help with air flow and help keep mould down too. I did get a little from the Malawi inside but she was vast :)
Hope you get a cracking harvest, when are they due?

And a daft question - is there any way you can rig up some sort of rain protection or would that just make everything too obvious?
They are going to get huge :)

If I can harvest majority of it il be a happy man. Most strains start flower at end of january but I know someone who grows panama and says they dont flower till march , which if its true that would be great because the flowers will miss most of the rain. So id say anywhere from now till march. Shelltering plants wont be an option 1# for stealth from the air 2# because I have over 30 plants and I work alot so I have my hands pretty full already. Have you got any plants going this year? Are you in oz?

No, I'm in Europe, so we have our seasons the right way round :D

Shame about the covering, but with 30 plants and some great genetics, you'll be laughing. You should (with any luck) be on for an heroic yield (I got 300g from 1 Malawi indoors) and it is all such high quality, love the Ace seeds mob.
Really interested to see what happens, keep posting pics please.

high,
Iam a little bit up , ive also tried some seeds , 49N ... the best was jamaican pheno of NJ and bangi haze was bit later but if you find some earlier phenotipe (probably more Nepalese) you can expect very nice results. indicas Ive tried not, but mazar i shariff must be good , and erdpurt also. last year was extremly humid, just the strongest ones finished without mold. you must use sometimes previcur and follow some rules (at mandala website, and you know - not so much water, N , good aired soil, and so...)
panama and malawi I bet is not the best choice, just for greenhouse

This thread made me log back in after 18 months.

Looks effin lovely.

Thanks mate. Those pics are from 2 weeks ago , I think theyve all doubled in size since then .I will post more pics in 1-2 weeks.
The bangi haze is the most vigourous plant iv ever grown , they are 12 weeks from seed and 9 ft tall .they must really love my climate

Um what? I planted my last 2 bangis this year. 1 october. They are 4 foot only (i had to move them so they are now in the bush). In my experience they were a smaller slower growing early photo sensitive plant ie start budding early and had great mold resistance and a powerful high. Must have some good juju in the soil.
