Today i'm growing out some feminized Strawberry CoughxSSSDH by CSG from seed.
i popped the seeds on 2-7. they were cracked by 24hours and in 3 days after popping in soil they were up. into veg box and one week later they had progressed quite nicely.
red sticks day 3.
bout a week later here.
they were vegged for about 5-6 weeks. might have been up to like 8 i wasn't keeping proper track. they lived in these beer cups till i transplanted to final containers.
the medium is a 60/40 mix of coco coir and worm castings. with a little perlite for aeration. i call it cocoganics. or maybe someone else called it cocoganics...i'm calling it that too.
my goal with this grow aside from testing out these beans is to try and go to the bottles as little as possible.
they were getting only plain water and maybe a little molasses to keep the bacteria and little critters in the soil happy. when they look like they might need a boost i use alaska fish for nitrogen and micros, and i use alaska brand kelp for everything else. water in a little epsom salt if they need magnesium, or a slurry of garden lime.
so far i have given them alska fish 2 times, once in week 4 from seed, and another in week3-4. i mix up a gallon and use it till it's gone or turns rancid. maybe 3 watering during the week. i use alaska kelp every 2 weeks just because everyone says it's a good thing to use in all phases. i rely on the minerals mostly for their food.
they started life under a 40w CFL. i think i shits out like 6000 lumens.
then they spent the first 2 weeks of flowering under 70w HPS and then from the 3rd week till now they have been sweating it out under a 100w mH.
