It's that time again!
Let's test our skills in micro medium growing, using standard personal sized yogurt cups as containers (6oz) we will collectively grow plants from seed and share our experiences. Seeds only this round.... let the fun begin.

This "contest" is open to ALL icmag members; there are NO restrictions at all on environment / equipment, only the container size and that plants must be from seed (primarily; roots must remain entirely inside yogurt cup at all times).

RULES
Read Closely

1) a 6 oz. individual yogurt container of any shape or brand. No substitutions. Keep the original label on there, please.

2) a seed or seedling of any Cannabis, male or female. Please specify strain/hybrid/breeder lineage in as much detail as possible.

3) each contestant can enter up to 10 yogurt cup plants (one plant per cup), but must choose only one to be judged.

4) There is no call for entries thread this round, so contest will stay open to new entries the entire time.

5) Your entered seedlings may be germinated or not at the time of entry.

6) All roots must remain inside the yogurt cup for the duration of the challenge and may require trimming. Bottom feeding is allowed, but if roots grow out the bottom of the container they must be trimmed and not be outside the 6oz container.

7) Harvest must be no more than 18 weeks from today, that's July 5th. Plants must be cut and pics posted showing harvest by July 5th.

Final harvest weights, both wet and dry, would be great, but not mandatory.

Showing plants against a ruler for reference, along the way and at harvest, also not mandatory, but would be super.

We will take and post weekly pics of our entries. We will all keep a good, fun spirit of community and sharing of knowledge and experiences. Weekly update pics are pretty key here so let's all try to keep up, although if you miss one week, don't quit, just keep the updates as steady as possible. Try not to miss more than 3 weeks especially in a row, we really want to show the progress of each yogurt cup grow.

Here's four I popped the other day. I'll transplant
one to a six ounce yogi cup and post it with a ruler.

I grow in a small cab, under 150w.

tokersmoke: just run a clone ifyou want to participate! its all for fun anyhow

It's good, it's all in fun. Now I can take the gloves off, and no one will cry like a little girl. Oh yea. Now see, I was sand bagging. Oh yea... I cut mine back Four WHOLE times. Who had 14 grams? Well, I think 16 and more is possible. I'm making one consolation to my laziness. I'm going to longer duration feed intervals. I may even... nah, I wont cut you too big a break.

My only problem is all the writing I need/should do to do it right. 16-grams plus needs to be documented, as does my fall. This is going to be FUN. Just don't take no bets with odds against me.

Cool, I'll play again. My biggest challenge will be being away for a week right in the middle ... tough to water a yogi when you're not there ... I see a reservoir in my future.

Cool, a yogi challenge! By chance, I have a few spare Finola seedlings which were put into soil March 2. I'll participate with those.

BIG QUESTION: Are we talking British Imperial fluid ounces or U.S. fluid ounces?
Because mine are in 150 gram yoghurt cups which is, at a density of 1.05 for yoghurt, 143 ml at soil/yoghurt level (not brimful) corresponding to 5.03 UK oz or 4.84 US oz. BTW 'ml' means 'millilitre', a metric volume
wink.gif
.
For those privileged ones not having to use conversion tables (like most of the world): 6 'generic' oz may be 170.5 ml or 177.4 ml, respectively.

Got to organise bigger yoghurt cups... as if I could win with a hemp variety LoL!

Now here's the pic @ day 4 post seeding.

Anyone know what's the most dried weight pulled from a yogy ?
Im asking, not setting up to tell you.. lol

I'm thinking of getting a micro game on over the summer and this could be a way to go.

I wonder how many ounces are in a Barbie Doll house Kiddie pool?
