Thanks for the replies....
Great info there CC, 15 to 1.... I was thinking of diluting it down to different ECs, and experimenting on cuttings.
I'm due to take some in the next week or two, so I'll do a bit of a side by side and report back.

for those growing organic, maybe try adding the coconut water to your teas?
I wouldn't be surprised if it's the sugars in the 'water' that give that crazy EC reading. Nice meter, btw, if you can get an EC reading like that. Mine tops out at 2.0, and in my experience it's really easy to get a crazy high EC reading by adding something like molasses or malted barley extract to the mix. The plants aren't objecting, but going by the meter you'd think that high EC would kill 'em.I sampled 3 nuts, basically straight off the tree....the water of each, (about 250ml ) had an average EC of 7.8 (very high imo) and a Ph of 5.9.
Did you measure EC of the water prior to mixing? Just curious about that. I agree, I think a 2.4 is incredibly high. But, I don't measure EC of organic feeds, specifically because of the issues with getting an accurate reading.I mixed all 3 together, then diluted that to 5, 10, 15 and 20 to one ratios with clean water (Ph of 6.2)
At Cootzs' 15 to 1 the readings were EC, .7 and Ph was 6.1
Other readings were..... 5 to 1, EC, 1.6, Ph 6.1
10 to 1, EC, 1.0, Ph, 6.1
20 to 1, EC, 0.6, Ph, 6.1
For me a reading of 2.4 in my nutrients, is what I'd consider strong.....so a .7 reading seems just about right
