Hey IC!
I have been updating my sour bubble thread with the process of making these seeds and flowering up until now. Things are coming along nicely and I thought it is time for their own thread. For anyone who is unfamiliar, I reversed the Deathstar clone only via colloidal silver with good success. The Deathstar clone never threw a single pistil in flower and produced tons of viable pollen. I applied that pollen to my Sour Bubble mother clone, thus creating Deathbubble.
I harvested by estimate only 600ish seeds. I immediately sprouted 10 seedlings to test the results. From the very start I have seen really good vigor, more so then I think any other seed plant I have ran. Also from the veg until I now I have seen a TON of variation within the 10 seedlings. Way more then I expected to say the least. These are the first female seeds I have sprouted and I figured they would be more identical.
Finally now I am feeling more confident about what I really have here, their charteristics are shining through via smell, trichrome production, and down right dankness. So far in my short pollen chucking experience this is the coolest thing I have found and I am pretty excited to finish things up and sample my work.
I am on day 59 and most look to go another week or two. There is one who looks ready and she will get the chop soon. I have all 10 in 7 gallon organic soil mix and placed under 1K in a 5x5 secret jardin. They have a perfect environment to include co2. They did get a little over vegged and to tall for my liking but it is working out.
I am seeing all parents shine through, the ECSD, 95 sensi star, and my sour bubble. I have grown all three on a decent scale so I am familair with what is in there.
Since all of them got there own thing going on I will share them all, 10 in total. Later I will add harvest shots and smoke reports. I will lab test all 10 phenos, I expect great results since both parents have tested well, and also the trichrom production is insane. I have not had this sticky of resin on my nose tip from sniffing the ladies in a long time, if nose hash is any indicator good things are to come.
Also I have already backed up 6 of the plants and after I see and test the finished product I will sort through them the best I can. There will be some hard choices to make.
I do plan to test each of my bx3 sour bubble males on the deathstar clone to see if I find simliar results, If I do I may take this further.
Currently I am on day 59 flower, the pictures I am sharing tonight were taken on day 57.
