Thats kinda neat but if im gonna spend 150-$200 for a diy chiller i think i would rather spend $300.00 for a dig controlled 1/4 hp chiller from the store that i know that works good. The last 2 i bought costed $299.00 and keeps my res at 68 with no problems with 40-60 gal.

Seems the main expense in this project comes from the refrigerator unit. Now, sure, you buy one new, it's gonna cost $100+. Me, I'd head to a pawnshop, and suddenly, this device becomes a MUCH better deal :)

why pay for it at all?

check your local Universities dumpsters in May.

i scored good one this way.

and betterboy, you paid 300.00 dollars twice?

my better-half would go not be happy to spend $600.00 for 40 gallons of 68

degree water. she would like to kill me first. haha

so this way will be good for growers wives that are cunts.

I saved that schematic of the revised plan, refrigerators are easy to find and can be cheap, plus you could keep your beer in there too......
Cheers to the ghetoness
