House & Garden Coco with wick system.


I used a mini muffin container- Poked holes in the bottom and added micro fiber wicks
4 hole in the top for fresh air.


Sits inside a larger plastic reservoir-

Ph at 5.7
No nutes added



Placed on my 600w ballast covered over night for warmth and outside under shade for the day.

I left soaked coco for 4 hours then used a paper towel to dry out coco a little. Let the wick do the rest from here on.

Anyone know if When Seeding in coco does it need some Cal/mag? Been thinking once they show 1/2"- 1" add a little. Only going with Jacks and cal/mag.
Upgraded to a PH pen
and my PPM Pen should be here soon. Only missing RO system. Might have to DIY one if I
come across filters at the flea market.

I do get to name my seeds right ? Am I supposed to wait till one grows ?

Just having fun with seed grows and trying to figure out how to keep track of what matters.

They are my pride and joy little ladies waiting in the shadows.

I really want a KONG male and fem. Would really like to have Kong seed 1 each of the others.

Cant wait ta see what pops.:watchplant:

I don't use cal-mag unless plant shows the sign, in this way, you get to know if it needs Cal or Mag. but we all have different ways of growing esp with coco, i'd wait to see more advice on this one. always use RO water too, i'll be watching, good luck to ya.

The other Boarder Haze showed a tail.




On 6-19-12
Moved on from this set up.
Not working for me.
took all seeds and am using wet nap in sand bags tek. sittting on the heat pad.

I took the BH and RD and set in a--- Coco wicK set up.--- Used a Shamy for the wick---
I placed the BH with a tail just under the coco.
No nutes added.

hey bro just a lil tip, your seeds dont need a humidity dome, they will pop faster and healthier, with out it. you will also have more pop up. alot of people confuse seeds and clones, clones need the extra humidity because they dont have a root system. seeds on the other hand are growing thier root system and foliage at the same rate, hence there is no need to overcompensate for lack of root system. hope this helps. good luck with the grow.

Thanks bro. True ,I kinda was thinking clone. lol... Next try-no dome- Ill give these seeds another week. If nothing Ill use bagseed to try coco again.

well from 12 seeds. I have 2 that want to play.1 Boarder haze and 1 refried D.
Im drying the others out and will toss them into the fridge for a couple weeks and try em again later.
I tossed a couple seeds into plastic cups with a little water on the heat pad and
1 Fem Blue ATF is showing life after 1 day- the other seed is KONG no life yet.

The little ladies are looking good. Feeding with Jacks and cal/nic and working great.
I popped a fem-BATF and since the 2nd BH was not showing I toosed the BATF in that party up. I even looked for the BH seed and could not find it. Cha- Now they are growing right next to each other.

That makes 2x BH 1x RH and 1 BATF going 12/12 from seed.
Then there is the dirt from my seed plants. 5 ladies have already popped and im guessing that wont be the end of it... I would think there are all Boarder haze yet they could be a few things..

Who knows what will happen at this point.lol
Just stoked my seed are viable and seem ta be good poppers &
I cant wait ta see what these seeds turn into.
The 12/12 from seed thing is interesting as well. Wondering how the PPK system
will work with such a short grow time. From what I have seen it should kick azz...
So Id say thing are going great... Thankz fer arsking...:tiphat:

Hi..
If i have seeds that dont want pop in a wk indoors,I dump em outdoors the cold spell gives em a kick..
I see several plants poping up in my garden,I wonder where they came from wks after dumping em out heheh...peace

Funny chit bro. Summers here ta stay for A bit. No mo frosty nights. Tossed the non-poppers in the fridge. Try again later... I put the border haze dirt outside. 8 lady's growing so far... peace bro...

The ladys in coco are Border haze - Refried D - Blue ATF

The mid-cup has a BH and BATF side by side.
Thinking I will just let them go and see what happens

Once I cut the SCROG ladies from my room ( day 101)

I will place these in mini PPK systems.
