Gavita LEP 300 + Blockbusters Multi-Strains

Thought I would also attempt a blog using the Gavita LEP and 2 non-aircooled Blockbuster shades.

I vegged 8 varieties for 5 weeks using only the lep, was away for 2 weeks to come back to a jungle - very impressed! it almost vegged a double tent using less than 300watts

Since I got back I've netted and super cropped, LST etc etc as height is now an issue. I switched both blockbusters on and currently running 1500watts. Herbs shown us how to do it, lets see if I can imitate.

how hot did your tent get just using the lep?
what did you use to cool, a/c or fan?

Hey Maxmurder, The lep runs cool, I was just using an 4 inch oscillating fan over the lep but have now switched to an 5 inch inline connecting to the lep. With all lights on, my tent is running at 26.5C but its winter here - I have a feeling I'm gonna have to put the glass back on the blockbusters. Just using 6inch inline to cool, no ac bro.

Things are looking nice n green in there. Have you found the plants are generally healthier, grow quicker and have thicker stems as herb did?

Yea I can honestly say that the growth looks like its been done outdoors large thick stems, health large leaves, 9-11 blading leaflets.

Cheers guys for all the support, hope I can do the girls justice. Plants are; Ras cals og, the norths, caseyjones, psyco diesel, chem 4d p4&p5 , snoe sleepa and unknown cut of blue cheese. Everything looks as it should, flipping tomorrow.

hey herby, glad you made it, hope I can reach a good target.

My last round was using 2 adjust-wings 600's and i tallied 53 but it was a little too damp

so probably 50 if it was bone-dry, would like to get a bit more than this, fingers crossed.

Hey herb did you get the new setup with the extra lep?

I feel blessed that I got some good peeps here to give me pointers on this new setup.

I will do weekly updates, even though the first 2 weeks are a tad boring but this is a test for the LEP so will persevere.

Just a quick update guys and girls, Stretch has started, cuts taken, the Lep has created nice uniform tops with thick hollow stems, hope this is going to be a bumper crop - who knows? pics the next few days.

Easy everyone, took some pics tonight, thought I would share them.

I'm getting a little more stretch than normal, night temps going below 14c

But still things are coming on nicely.
Everything girl is still a great colour green and stems are getting fatter, another week of stretch for most of the strains. And I've look in there and I'm gonna have to net the girls with a second layer

, girls under the LEP are always praying

Everyone i know wants an Lep now, lol. They really makes plants super happy. I want one just for vegging, very tight internodes on the Chem 4d last picture. Super excited only another 9 weeks :jump:
