Spent last week down in northern California making some kief and hash.
Anyway the product turned out pretty great, so I thought I would share some photos. Detailed smoke reports as well as photos of the bubble and some NorCal buds to come.
Kief: Made about 2 lbs of Kief while I was down south. I first used 23, 90, 160 micron bags with dry ice and dry greenhouse buds/toss. The next day I used just the 160 and 23 micron bags, tossing the buds/toss into the bucket and then shook the bucket upside down capturing the blonde kief in the 23 micron bubble bag. Anyway here are some photos:
Bubble: Made roughly 2 ounces of bubble hash. Also made using the greenhouse ganja, but ran in water using a 2 bucket system. The weed was first blended in a bucket with water, ice and no bags. A drill with a paint bit and one metal stirring bit was used to agitate the weed. The water/bud mix was then dumped into a second bucket with a 120 micron bag. The froth was stirred and allowed to settle for a few minutes, the water was then drained and the process was repeated, reusing the buds 2-3 times before tossing. Photos will be uploaded soon(next 24 hours roughly).
Oil: Made in snowy conditions with glass tube and 5x refined butane. Purged in warm water. Turned out to be golden amber taffy, which then hardened into darker golden hardcandy. Super potent stuff with a great flavor.
