Hey thanks everyone for the compliments.
I went through hell to get this cut, sacrificing many things and getting screwed by a disp. but thats another story.

So my approach is a little different than most but is comprised of nothing more than my observations and others results on here......

First and foremost thanks to people like jay kush, crazy composer, mad lib, stagger and others.

So first off is the medium, which consists of at least 50%-60% coco 20% ewc and the rest perlite

The best mix I have come up with out of the bag is manna mix by vital earth. I have also been experimenting with their guanos.

otherwise I usually do 2 bags canna coco, to 1 ocean forest to 1.5 cuft of perlite.

I like to add granular humic acids, as well as langbeinite, a nice source of potassium.

I use age old organics grow and bloom at 1/2 strength so 1/2oz per gal...super easy.
I use this in a sort of compost/guano tea mix.

to this I also add 1 cup of ewc per 5 gal.
1 tbsp of peruvian sea bird guano
4 ml per gal of protekt silica
GO camg+ @ 4ml/gal
a few tsp of soluble seaweed powder
and some molasses.

brewed for about 24hrs, with no filter bag and watered.

the only negative to doing it this way is cleaning the brewer every 3-4 day.

Recently its come to my attention that I may want to start doing two different teas, one guano and one compost and would like to talke about the difference between the two?

Going with TahoeOG...not SFV but yields better and rocks your face! Way to grow Organic! NS

it is with out a doubt similar to the tahoe, or at least related.
I think a buddy was running this side by side to find out.

I do believe they are related.

consider top-dressing w/ your guano. as you water w/ compost tea, the top layer benefits from the innoculation. alternately, you could add guano to your tea in a mix after the brew process. brewing a guano tea wouldnt offer any further benefits.

Word.
The guano I use is pelletized and therefore takes a while to break down, approx. 2 hrs. So I usually just add it when I mix up the tea.

So the guano I'm using actually needs to be top dressed. I've been having some slight issues around day 35 the last 2 runs due to nitrogen running out a bit to early.

after doing some reviewing I realized that I'm not getting all the nitrogen out of my guano, only the water soluble forms.

SO I'm reconsidering what I want to do. May just continue doing what I have been(adding it to teas) and start using some mexican bat or some other form of soluble form of nitrogen.

OR I could start top dressing though I understand it takes a bit for the guano to break down and can be a little tricky, as well as a health concern.

Idk....gotta think
any input greatly appreciated

your less soluble N is going to still be there. sounds like you may benefit from top-dressing more or earlier ? wats the NPK on your PSB guano? u see a lot of guano being used as hi-P

also, havin N concerns presents an opportunity to diversfy; maybe find another N source - neem seed meal can be a good option for that since it also helps w/ potential pests

again your grow is doing great so any adjustments should be very minor - maybe thinking to wards the future and getting away from bottled stufz

werd.....I feel ya on the bottled nutes deal. I like a light mix that runs out before the end so that I have more control of feeding. Seeing as I'm running 7 lights now I don't want to do anything thats gonna be more labor intensive.....thinking I probably should have continued using AO grow through the bloom cycle.

The PSB is sunleaves 10-10-2....which after reviewing their website seems as though they may have discontinued.

I dunno...gotta rethink a few things

Also considering reusing the soil which would give the opportunity to re-supplement with whatever I need.
