Using Merit75/BayerComplete + beneficials

Quick question that I was hoping someone could help me with.

Background:
Earlier this year I had to deal with a root aphid problem in my garden. I used merit 75 a couple of times and did the typical bleach/bugbomb to my grow to get rid of them. I took a bit of a break over the summer and am just now about to fill the rooms back up. Although everything looks alright for the most part I have noticed that vigor is lacking a bit, leading me to believe that some aphids may still be present. I can't find any but would rather take care of any future problems now instead of dealing with them halfway through flowering. I recently hit my veg again with the merit, and plan to do this again from time to time as a preventative.

Question:
I've read that imidacloprid (active ingredient in bayer/merit) kills any beneficials that are in your rootzone (in addition to the aphids). I've also read that it's systemic and stays in the roots for some time. How long after using the imid can I begin introducing beneficials to the plants again without the beneficials being killed? I usually use great white, which I think is a great product and also expensive. I don't want to bother using though it if all the mycos are just dying as soon as the plants are watered... Thanks :ying:

Thanks for the response man. I was under the impression that imid was toxic to many microorganisms, I might be wrong about that though. I hope that I am in wrong, tbh.

It acts on the central nervous system, so it would seem that it wouldn't harm an organism that lacks a central nervous system.

Well then I guess it looks like I'll be spending money on great white regardless. Thanks for the advice.
