3x3 space, how many plants?

How many plants do you guys think I can fit in a 3x3 space? I was thinking about 16 plants, in 3 gallon bags and pruned after the 21st so I can grow more vertical than sideways.

I have a 600w hortilux and venting it with a 6" vortex 424cfm

16 is a lot for a 3x3 room ...

i used the same size room b4 and only grew 3-4 plants with a 400watt hps ...


i really wouldnt do anymore then 8 in there ...

I think 9 plants would be fine!

I would never give any of my plants less than 1 sqf to themselves.. the more the better, unless your doing a sea of green.. smaller containers and more of them.

I use a 2x4ft tent and fit about 4-6 comfortably - 3-5gal pots

How about 36 plants.

well it would be like a semi sog, with around 3 weeks veg time. i just wanted to make sure there would be no side branching and have the main cola go straight up.
