well.. this is something i have been buzy with latelly.

my favorite ssh/ptk keeper i dusted with several males of beeniemans choice - a select jamaican highgrade.

i have grown out soon 50 females with little variety in potency and looks. there is some thinner phenos that are similar to the jamaican parents, many are very big yielders of solid heavy nugs. as soon as i can i will take more pics and put em here.

the smell is ranging from acidic fruity to almost stinging putrefaction stench mixed with tropical fruit and candy. both parents are represented in the smell combos. the pungent fruit smell is the most common smell.

flavour ranges from more musky skunky to fruity acidic. the fruity phenos dominate.

in structure the plants are very sturdy and have very strong stems. the vigour of the plants comes in action in the early flowering stage where some phenos easilly can triplicate size in two weeks. the tallest few get to 1,5m in heigth. they love light and often want to grow right into the HPS's.

i like these nugs more than the SSH/PTK alone.

the flowering time ranges from some 6 week phenos, to the really big yielders than can take up to 10 weeks to properly finish. mayority are around 7-8 weeks flowering

thanks man, the outcome has been far above any expectacions. the cross was made 2 years ago soon :) and i have been growing out about 100 seeds during the last year... flowering all of them as big as possible to really show the goodness.. well - it took time :) and i been hella stoned for the last 6 months so..

it seems to me they combined really well, taking best parts of both parents and make it into something even better. i certainly want to make it known i allways thought the beeniemans cut has been really properly selected and worked in jamaica.. the music industry there is propably some of the most selective cannabis clients one can imagine..

props go out to Cloneman for making the SSH/ptk, and to Tom hill for his awesome inspiring genetics.

:) the girls dem sugar...

the jamaican cut has several names, one of the names for it is related to the area it is grown in (the papin area), but in general when this specific weed was mentioned, the locals said, ah that one is beeniemans choise. meaning most likelly it is/was the favourite smoke of this big artist.


anyway, some friend of mine called it pirate booty :)

you can really see the PTK in the structure, talk about yeild too...Is the beanie's choice a modern JA hybrid type ganja? I know back a few years the "Alaska" was a popualar high grade strain. Peace

very little is known about the beeniemans genetics, but im sure it is a hybrid from the structure and such... short plants with sturdy stems and not too big leafs. very good leaf to calyx ratios.. a big tendency for purples and reds. some phenos had even red trichome interiors.
