Blue diesel

GENETICS: MOM= Diesel #1 (Underdog) x DAD= Blueberry (clone from boulder)

60-75 day strain
60 day range = blueberry tasting
75 day range= more diesel tasting, while still getting blueberry on inhale

blueberry diesel on inhale, then musky blueberry on exhale, followed by a nasaly diesel that you can taste through your nose for about 5-10 seconds after the rip.
-very medicial/ indica. Some claim makes paranoid because the narcotic effect is so strong!

Not low like OG kush low or anything like that.. pretty average yield actually, and good when considering its quality.. But when considering its flower time it becomes a little bit of a lower yielder i suppose..

Oh- and this is grown TOTALLY organically.. So if it was pumped up w/ some nutes it would prob be pretty good yield..

I just got a clarification about this strain! (Ill update/edit the first post w/ genetics info)

The genetics WERE NOT DJ Shorts Blueberry or Soma NYCD!!

The genetics ARE:
Blueberry (Super Super dank blueberry clone that had been around for a long time, came from boulder) x
NYCD (Thee cut that "Chemdog" brought back to NY, or however the story goes..)

Both were females, the blueberry was flowered longer than it should have in order to stress it out and produce pollen, then the NYCD was pollinated by the blueberry w/ q-tips.
When seeds were collected, several were popped and I think 4 females were grown out (males were destroyed at the time..). 1 was lemony, 1 was blue, and I forget what the other 2 were like.. Only the blue pheno was kept.. That is THIS blue diesel..

-After having a lengthy discussion w/ the original breeder of the BD, he told me that he still has some original f1 seeds.. Were going to try popping some and cross it to this amazing BD pheno, to make f2 beans.. hopefully they will pop, and hopefully I'll find some blue/purple pollen sac's and/or leaves..

-We are also talking about making fems..

Are you sure it isnt Soma's NYCD?

NYCD is Soma's Afghan Hawaiian crossed with ECSD...

I was told specifically that it was not Soma's, and that it is the original NYCD... If anyone else can make sense outta this/confirm that there was a original NYCD other than soma, that would be nice

K I found out some more stuff about the strains used to make the blue diesel-

The NYCD =
"My older friend drove it out from New York, Albany area -he was doing this since the early 90's. He was told it was the REAL DEAL NYCD, using the original Chemdog that was brought from Colorado."

The Blueberry-
Was obtained from Boulder in 03'
When obtained, it was already a 17 year old strain
Although it was said to be blueberry, it might have been a made up name because it was dark purple/ almost black.
It might be the "not blueberry" blueberry thats in the cannabible.

So did your buddy breed this strain?? was it a fem reversal? or did the diesel somehow pollinate a blueberry or vice versa?? Both female clone only's right. interesting stuff...

Yes, one of my good friends bred it originally. He likes to stay on the DL though, so im doing the future projects with it...
