My first show!

I've been lurking for a little while here, and figured it was time to quit being a spectator.

so - here we go. First things first: as the thread title indicates, this is my first go at this. I welcome any and all questions, comments, criticisms, and suggestions. Though I've only been here a little while, I've seen how much knowledge floats around here, and I welcome those who feel like sharing it.

Ready for the fun part?

I'm staying under my plant limits as a registered caregiver in my state, and right now have 28 girls at day 14 of 12/12, under 3 1000w lights, in coco/perlite. probably adding a 4th light within the next couple weeks.

they're getting hand-watered botanicare nutes: sweet, bloom, liquid karma, cal mag, as well as hygrozyme.

10 lemon g's, 10 sweet tooth, 6 death star, and 2 bubba kush.

i'm also a camera noob, so it might take me a minute to figure out how to get the HPS orange tint out of the pictures...sorry.

i gave a few of the girls another little haircut today...they all got a pretty good haircut over last holiday weekend, some nearly got scalped :covereyes:

but some needed another trim today.

having a gnat problem too. :cuss:

deployed predatory nematodes and yellow sticky cards last week, but doesn't seem to be helping. bought some bayer complete insecticide on someone's recommendation, but not quite sure how/if i should use it...fuckin bugs...

but i got some cuts in rapid-rooters, with r.o. water and a b'cuzz root, under a dome. they weren't looking so hot at first, but 3 days in, and they perked right up. :woohoo:

they were cut 7-9 days into flower, so i expect them to take a little longer to root than their moms did. now i just have to get their new room ready for them...i'll start worrying about that after the weekend.

Alright...day 20. Deployed a bunch of ladybugs yesterday in hopes of combating the gnats. otherwise things are looking good.

GREAT JOB MAN , I'LL BE WATCHING THE PROGRESS!!
i recent grow bubba kush and 3 of 4 my bubba kush from green house seed get mold attack , but the smell, taste and high are so fucking good bro long lasting buzz, one of my favourite strain but have this problem the bubba get mold like no other .. shit!! also the yield is low but if you have lucky sure you enjoyed !! keep watching in the last 2 weeks of flow my friend , mine get mold just in 2 days you no , i hope what i say give you motivation to keep watching closely up in the main cola where still fat compact bud ...just my 2cent!!!
anyway you grow up nice baby, happy 2011 brotha!!

Day 22 today...might try to get some pics taken and posted later...got a bunch of work to do today...reconfiguring my watering/feeding system, taking care of a water leak on the floor, and trying to address a condensation issue on my ducting (cooling lights with cold air pulled from outside) that's causing some floor puddling, and giving me humidity problems....can't have that, now, can we? :noway:

Gotta love Lemon G, can't resist the skunky citrus! Definitely pumped to see it grow too! I too am jealous of those ladybugs. Does it stink in there yet?

Yea kaoss, its starting to smell a bit...these girls kinda smelled during veg too, but now its a bit heavier. still not outrageous yet.
and yea the lemon g's are sweet looking and starting to smell nice when i gently rub the stem of squeeze a top- they were almost 34" when I flipped them, the tallest is 52" now...i'm hoping their stretch is about done. :watchplant:

Day 24, and a bit of an update...

I put a 55gallon drum in the room, with a sump pump w/garden hose attachment, and an air-stone. got a long wand attachment for the garden hose, and my life just got a lot easier! :woohoo:

got my condensation problem taken care of - i simply stopped pulling cold air in from the outside. i've still got the fan pulling, with ducting exhausting to another part of the house, but instead of pulling super cold air in from outside, on end of the last light is just open, and the fan pulls enough room air/heat from the lights through to keep my temperatures pretty much perfect - even with gas burning and dehumidifier on. :wahey:

really starting to smell nice!! especially the stems.
the lemon g stems stink like orange rind! the bubba's smell almost like coffee. the death stars have a nice musky smell to them...and the sweet tooths have a really pungent fruity spicy stank to them !! :dance013:

day 30.
put another 1000watts in the room, and got one of the raptor hoods. that thing is seriously large.
added an 8" fan and re-did my ducting, pulling cool air from another room through the lights, though I think i'm still running a bit hotter than I'd like...i'm going to keep working on it - though I may just have to add another 6", so that I'm pulling from the 2 6's with the 8...any suggestions from you climate control guru's?

well, today would be day 32 of 12/12, but there were 2 days where they didn't get good light while some things were being re-arranged...they woke up and went to bed on time, but they didn't get a lot of bright sunshine in between. there was also an over-heating issue the day after that, so I'm just calling this day 30.

some of the lemon g's, a few of the sweet tooth, and the a few of the death stars seem to be considerably hungrier/thirstier than the rest of their sisters. the bubba kush's seem to be the slowest drinkers in the garden.
that said - the sweet tooths and the bubba kush flowers seem to be coming along a bit faster than the death stars, and quite a bit faster than the lemon g's.
the run-off in my drip trays after feeding isn't as pure as I'd like - so i think the next feeding is just gonna be ph'd RO water + hygrozyme. then I want to add the other booster I got to their feeding routine and hit them with it asap - but feeding/watering every other day, it'll be a few days til they get more food...other than what the hygrozyme frees up/breaks down...

out of curiosity - what kind of boosters/supplements do you all use or recommend?
they're currently getting liquid karma, bloom 1-4-5, sweet, cal mag+, and hygrozyme. I have superthrive, but was told to stop using it before the girls even got to 12/12...perhaps i should re-introduce it?
