The SCHROM...and yes, it is bomb!

This nug came into town along with some other fine, 100% organic strains in a one-time only veritable ganja-fest in which I also accrued samples of Trainwreck, NYCDxG13, Bubba Kush, SoCal Bubbleberry, and Super Silver Haze.

It should be mentioned that as these were actually someone else's nugs I didn't take off the leaves that the grower left on, though it would have made better pictures.

Compared to those other strains, SCHROM's physical form wasn't quite as classic bag-appealing as the others: Wiry, lean nug spears that were rather dense. The SCHROM nugs seemed moist, but they were just well-cured and almost rubbery in nature. This led quite a few in my group to pass on them, but they regretted that decision later.

The smell of the SCHROM is intense and off-putting. Its surely not the smell most people are looking for when they buy expensive pot: hard to categorize between fruity or spicy. The guy I got it from said "tequila" which i'm inclined to believe, though I might say its also like a good single-malt scotch. The intense, peppery medicinal quality of both of those liquors comes to mind. Big, bizarre sativa weediness: dandelions, nettles, crushed herbs. Slight rubberiness.

The smoke tastes oily, and comes out of your mouth like a spicy expando fireball. Coughing seems unavoidable, though a cured butteriness comes through too. High is initially potent to the point where you rip a big toke and think "uh oh", but it doesn't waste you completely. Evenly placed between the wandering deepness of the mind and the kick-you-in-the-chest weight behind your face. No instant 'sleep' desire reflexes, which i'm thankful for. The mild stomache-ache of sativa-influenced anxiety. Not a good before-bed strain at all! Slight glimpses of the headache I associate with some strains but it never develops.

Nice level of satisfaction with this herb. You get severely stoned, both in the head and body, but you don't have the knee-jerk reaction to smoke more like with some strains.

Overall SCHROM walks the fine line between heavy-duty stoniness and intense mind-expanding headiness without being too much of either...just a delightful - and potent - brain-fuck that lingers for hours. Just a lovely buzz. And the weird smell and flavor just adds to the enjoyment. The oily medicine shop smell lingers on your lips and fingers for the rest of the day.

Agreed, Schrom is the bomb. And you've written a consice accurate report on it's powers. It's very hard to make out it's smell but the high you can make out right away. And when you mentioned the medicinal quality of liquors I reached for my bottle, now that's a report that grabs you. Thanks for the fine read, excellent info.

From here on out i'll include a "creativity" section of my smoke reports as one of my predominant usages of cannabis is to inspire and facilitate creativity, both in the written word - short stories, novels, poetry - but also in songs, photography, graphic design, etc.

In this particular case SCHROM is not the biggest of winners, as it is so insanely stoney that you will not get too much work done. You'll get a good deal of ideas to kick around, but be sure to write them down. Everything about the SCHROM is very floaty, and falls away from the grasp quite quickly.

Green W. Bush, I'm a schrom lover too. WOW! What an excellent report of it's inner qualities. I remember saying it's a GOOD high. Just makes me feel good and brightens up everything like thoughts and visual perceptions. The tatse was different like a rich spicy, like you said medicinal flavor and smooth, but strong expansion too.

perhaps to allow all the sugars remaining to be broken down into more THC in the bud? dunno, but all this schrom looks great i can't flower for another month, but when i do there's no doubt gonna be a schrom bush with the rest... but nothin like babba's giant schromy schrubbery! peace n green thumbs all yous planters

Some people do it to protect the trichomes when drying, so in case they get brushed up against etc....

I personally take them off before the dry but I have seen many others leave them on until they are completely dry first.

i have thought of that as a reason, but if you think of it... how much could it honestly protect them?..

Usually just lack of motivation to take them off! hahaha!

As for Shcrom, I've loved this strain for a few years now. It has a really strange scent and taste, but very pleasing.

The high is awesome, but too much can lead to audio hallucinations and paranoia! As a matter of fact, I never get paranoia, EXCEPT when I smoke too much Schrom!

babbabud, when I saw your Schrom the other morning I had to rush to work. Needless to say, I have to remark about your specimen. WOW, the Schrom in all it's glory, but under the SUN one can see what a happy girl you have. And have shown us all where it's at......HUGE and Healthy..........just like smokin 2 live's clone he gave to my bro. I wondered why it was in such a large pot. Well bro, you've answered my question. Just remarkable, awesome looking,..........respect, that's it, the schrom is the word respect!

I remember one night i was driving around at like 1pm at night high as fuck with the noids and no gas driving around looking for this kickback. I was too fucked up so after getting like 35 cents in gas i finally booked it up.

Are the noids from like a percy blunt of schrom that intense?

how about this. Yes, indeed, if she is pulled early. But, in my case, smokin's bra, my bro, kinda messed up the cure by keeping her too moist. Well, I hope I don't hurt anyones feeling, but little billy goat, by "sweat curing" her, as I now think about it, brought out the Gold Columbian traits in the high.

I say this in regards to testing an early sample of Schrommy Dz from smokin 2 live's own styrofoam cups, that I raised (rescued) that made me P A R A N O I D for the first time in years. I thought, what the fuck. My mind is racing through the cosmos. It's the clear trichs that are severly loaded to the hilt with Delta 9.

Or someone else intervene and explain what happened? I'm saying billie's innocent sweat cure mellowed out the schrom into a gold columbian high.

By the way, I TANK UP with SOUR DIESEL premium whenever I'm on empty......LOL

Schrom is definately a perm keeper for me. The high definately has the best properties of both sides of its lineage. The taste is fantastic, im gonna guess it gets that from the columbian side as ive never had any romulan that tasted like that. props to schrooomy
