Hey Tjo, what temps are typical for your environment? anything above 74-75 and I'd say you're gonna need a water chiller to avoid root rot...

the higher temps i had last year was 27c for a couple days.
now i begin the veg stage with 1 ufo led for few days, just 2 be sure, and then i will start the MH.
this is the reason that i have now my controller out of my room.

nice to found you

nice to found you

Hey nice to found you again tjo i have learned a lot of thinks from your previous grow logs and i setup a kind of RDWC in my limeted space with 4 Shiva Skunk Scrog under 400W.

I found that some big Ice Packs in the control bucket can keep the water temps low for almost 7 hours i think that you must try it !!!

It will be nice to have you in my log checking thinks out and give me some help. Here is my log , i will through my hat if i make it over .5 per watt with this setup
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=189882

I am jelus for your new girls but they need 11 weeks flowering !!!! lot of time !!!

I will follow again your grow and i wish you GOOD LUCK
(you do not really needed i think you mastered very well RDWC in your previous grows)

I can't wait to see your setup. The SLH is a nice strain and has great big buds. You'll be a happy smoker soon.

hola hydrosun
nothing special..no big changes.
last year my first grow was with 6 bb...the second grow was
with 12 plants in the same area if you remember..so i deside,
to throw my controller outside of my box for better handling,
better temps and more space..the number of the plants is 6 again
but now the room space is bigger...now i have 0.80x1,80-all the box- and before i had 1,40x0,80.
one question that i have for you is the lighting..
im thinking for 1) 1000w , 2)600+400 what do you think??

Well I would use a single 1Kw and run it bare bulb (hanging vertical) if temps allow. The Magnum hoods I use are over a meter long and close to a meter wide so it would fill your whole room. The SLH creates huge airy sativa nugs and did very well under a 1Kw for me.

What is the air flow and air temps like?

Water temps?

:joint:

i have 2 lti fans.1 is 125mm and the other 155m diameter.
the small one takes fresh air from outside and the other fan sucks
the air thru the cool tube and goes out after the carbon filter.

the air temp is 25c and the water temp is 24c.

Is there a fan blowing air across the plants?

Temps sound fine.

:joint:

i have a good blower fan.strong enough.

the conditions are good.something else is the problem.
i have the same brown spots and last year but not that yellow-green color.

hydrosun you are using RO?? if, yes, are you using
the soft water micro??
and what you suggest about the SLH.
maybe you have a good recipe for me.:)

I use RO and the regular Micro (NOT Hard Water).

I only really ran one SLH and she was OK with the standard blend, but seemed to like a little less nutes than my PK.

I would use 8ml micro, 12ml grow (right now) 4ml bloom, 4ml diamond nectar, and 4ml B'cuzz grow per 4L of res (ratio of 2:3:1:1:1ml per L)

That would be a great veg mix.

Hey tjo happy to see updates from you.
I believe that you will fix you girls , you always do.
Sorry to bother you I need to ask some questions cause i learn alot from you and Hydrosun in your previous journal.

I am using R/O and GH 3 part in 60 litre of water , how many litre do you have in your system ?
My girls getting bigger but the ppm of my solution remain the same
I cannot stabilize my ph too , i fix it @ 5,5 and in 12 hours is back @ 6,1 if i let it it will rise to 6,5 maybe any solution to this ?
Wich is you veg formula for 3 part GH ?
thanks !
happy to read updates from you.
