My rockwool grow

I am currently growing some Mango. Its 45 days into 12/12 today. I Use 2-600hps on a rail. I have a 6x3 table. I use 6" cubes of rockwool ontop of 12"x3" slabs of rockwool.I put 24 clones in the 6x3 table. I use C02 injected, a 12000btu portable ac, 100ltr res.2 drippers per cube. The room is only 6'lx10w'x5'8"h. I use 2 osc. fans. and a carbon filter. I use advanced nutes. I think thats everything. If I left out something just ask. Ill post some pics.

yipppeeee, finally someone at Ic with knowledge about slab growing...thank you thank you thank you.. those buds look nice and very similar to the mango i uised to grow from kulu, that was really nice weed, is it the same one mate? ill be reading through any more posts to glean as much info as possible as i have some clones alomost ready to go into the slabs(3 per slab for small bushes) and i have got a rockwool book but its not great....
I would particularly appreciate details of the timer settings for your irrigation...basically how often and for long long each time.....ive been told only once with all the days amount, and then ive been told by someone else to break it down into shorter, more frequent feeds... do you run to waste?? this is my intention as i am told it is the easiest way with Rockwool....
thanks in addvance mate....i hope you stick around here so i can hassle you for help and info when i set mine off....

I got them as a clone but they are kc brains Mango. Ment for outdoor but it grows fine inside. I have Mango,blackberry,dannyboy,purple urkle,white widow and special k. I have access to many more. I water of feed everyother day for about 8 minutes. I start the week with a fresh batch of nutes recycling the run off. 2 days later I dilute the res back to 30 gal. with ro water. I run that for 8 minutes recycling run off. 2 days later do it again.2 days later flush with a full res. of ro 5.6 water draining to waste and mix a batch for the next week.I let it sit over night. I hope some of this makes some sence harry! I will try to help. I grew this dankouver plant in a 6" cube set on a slab.

The length of time depends on the strain.2 weeks for the mango this grow and probably 3 next time. I use to veg in my bloom room until this weekend. I have been building a new veg room all weekend and will probably finish it tomarrow. I will take some pics. I bought a 400mh and a 2x4 tray with all the trimmings. By vegging in a seperate room I will be able to get 6 harvests per year. Until now all my moms and clones have been in a small closet. Not big enough to veg plants in also.

hey krowmobe... i also grow out the kc brains mango.. very nice strain

i use 4 inch cubes surrounded by hydroton in an ebb n flow tray. works very well for the mangos..

I vegged these for 2 weeks under these same 2-600hps. From now on I will be vegging in a seperate room with a 400mh. The next time I grow these mangos I will veg for longer.

Hi there, thanks for the details of your feed shedule....
do you have any problems with slat buildup and PH problems at all with the recirculating? this is what ive been told, Ur buds look happy enough anyway man.
Looking forward to seeing more from you. ill show you my rockwool when i set it off, only 2 slabs for now to learn the process, but just for now, heres what im finishing off currently

Sour Bubble, shes at day 35 tonight, in an Aquafarm which ive just modified to get it recirculating from a larger res, she is my 1st time flowering in hydro.....Hope you dont mind me showing the pic, I will remove it if you would prefer.

Of course you can post her here. I dont have any build up issues as long as I dilute before reusing a batch of nutes and I flush at the end of each week.

krow..i just checked out your gallery....i enjoyed your pics from day one bro...you got them rockwools down to the science!!!! them mangos look like some lush greens and a hell of a smoke. i am bowing down to the slab master ! :canabis: :friends:

hey krowmobe.. u seem to have a bit different pheno then me but i noticed your also goes purple! wat a great strain for 20 bucks or watever it is for kc strains...

how far do your lamps move on the mover? seems that those 2 600's will cover that area without it.

Good q! The 600s only move about 15" each but with the low ceiling that I have I can run the lights closer with the rail. When I grow sativaish strains they sometimes get within inches of the lights without burning. Plus I had them as extras. Thanks for the interest for sure.
