Guest & Judge Laminate Inclusions

Those in possession of a GUEST laminate will be entitled to vote in the following 4 categories:

Personality of the Year
Favorite Coffee Shop
Glass Art
Best Product

Those in possession of a JUDGE laminate will receive samples of all cannabis and/or hash entries associated with the specific Judge laminate purchased and be entitled to vote in it’s respective category:

Grower’s Cups: Indica / Sativa
Breeder’s Cups: Indica / Sativa
Hash Cup

There are laminates for SATIVA, INDICA, and HASH Judges. The specific pass purchased determines the category for voting.

All Judges, regardless of judging category, will also be able to vote on the following:

Best Product
Glass Art
Personality of the Year
Favourite Coffee Shop


Awards:
Breeder’s Cup Sativa 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Decided by Sativa judges vote. Samples blind judged.

Breeder’s Cup Indica 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Decided by Indica judges vote. Samples blind judged.

Grower’s Cup Sativa 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Decided by Sativa judges vote. Samples blind judged.

Grower’s Cup Indica 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Decided by Indica judges vote. Samples blind judged.

Hash Cup 1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Decided by Hash judges vote. Samples blind judged.

Favourite Coffee Shop: Popular vote by all Guest Pass and Judges votes, based on service, menu, atmosphere, toilets, etc. among participating coffee shops. A list of all participating coffee shops will be provided to all laminate holders.

Favourite Product: Popular vote by all Guest Pass and Judges votes, based on innovation, design, practicality & usefulness within the cannabis industry. ‘Product’ may also include food or beverage entries.

Favourite Glass: Popular vote by all Guest Pass and Judges votes, based on recognizing the artists use of colours, style, and uniqueness of the entered piece.

Favourite Personality of the Year: Popular vote by all Guest and Judges votes, based on activity over the past 12 months in the fields of promotion and legislation of cannabis, achievement, determination and vision. Nominations for this award, and information about the nominees, will be found in the venue throughout the IC Mag 420 cup to aid in voting.

In addition to voting rights each type of laminate includes, the following are inclusions for ALL Guest or Judge laminate holders:

·Entrance to all events at The Sugar Factory April 18, 19, and 20, 2006. Includes expo, live music, awards ceremony and any/all other events TBA.

·Grow seminars with Q&A sessions conducted by select expert breeders. Times TBA.

·Unlimited boat travel on the 420 Boat around Amsterdam, visiting participating companies and coffee shops. Times TBA.

·Welcome ‘goodie bag’ including loads of cool stuff to augment your 420 Cup experience!

·Auction. Your chance to bid on lots of cool stuff . TBA

·Escorted visit to one of Amsterdam’s top grow shops which caters to both commercial and personal use growers with tour of their active grow room.

·Daily Wake ‘n Bake (location(s) TBA)

·Joint rolling competition

·Haze party & vendor sponsored parties (locations & time TBA)

·Daily ‘door prizes’ to be given away at The Sugar Factory. Must be present to win. Time of daily drawings TBA.

·Option to join the ‘Trichome Riders’ bicycle tours. Participants receive a special Trichome Riders t-shirt.

·Other activities TBA. (Will be listed here...so check this thread often for new info)

Pass Prices:

Indica Judge - $300 / £175 / 255 euros
Sativa Judge - $300 / £175 / 255 euros
Hash Judge - $250 / £145 / 215 euros

Guest Pass - $175 / £100 / 150 euros

Single Day Pass – 30 euros (payable at door only). Includes entrance to The Sugar Factory only one day/evening. No voting rights.

There are a MAXIMUM of 30 Indica and 30 Sativa Judge passes and 15 Hash Judge laminates available. All laminates are available for advance purchase on www.seedbay.com/browse.php?id=16 . ALL Judge & Guest laminates are by advance purchase only and in accordance with the Seedbay payment policy.

Note: We are still in the process of planning and selecting other activities and events to include for your enjoyment during the 420 Grower’s & Breeder’s Cup. Any events included after this posting of initial information will also be included for all Guest & Judge pass laminate holders!

When Seedbay recieves payment, the auction ID # will be marked paid/shipped
so that you know your payment has been received, which will generate an automatic
shipping confirmation email to you, however, NO PASSES ARE BEING MAILED....they
are for pick up on site in Amsterdam. So when you receive a confirmation of shipping email,
it does NOT mean that your guest or judge pass(es) are being shipped.

Although not mandatory, but highly suggested, and most judges do arrive early, but we will again make judge samples available for pick up prior to the 18th so you can get started. Last year was on the 16th and we will strive to make them available again a couple days before the 18th.

Also, when making your payment for your pass(es) please note that there is NO shipping fee associated to the passes. There will be no passes mailed. All guest and judge passes are for pick up in Amsterdam. You will pick up your pass(es) based on your auction number, so please retain that info.

You are gonna like the venue ALOT Smokey....The Sugar Factory has lots of room, tables & chairs, huge bar, immaculately clean toilets, (always important in my book...lol), perfect stage for live music and awards night.....wait to you see it Smokey! We are so happy to host the event there. Our event has grown and grown and 2006 looks to be our best party yet!

Do you have to have a guest pass to get in? Or is it just for extra privilages?

If you are local to the dam, and don't wish to have the inclusions & voting rights, or if you just wish to enter the Sugar Factory, then you will need a single day pass available for purchase at the door.

Well...we're both incredibly excited about the entire trip! We knew we'd go "somewhere" for such a milestone in our lives... and when I saw that the IC event was in the ballpark as far as being close to the actual date of our anniversary (which, BTW, is actually May 15th) the pieces just seemed to fit. I'm WAYYYY fortunate in that my wife and I both love to get high...so *convincing* her to come took about...oh...all of 2 seconds!

In the end, we have no other party/event planned to celebrate the day when it rolls around in May beyond going out to dinner as a family (we have 2 teenage sons), so this week will be the focus of that celebration for sure!

I can't think of a better way...or a better buncha folks to hang with for such a celebration! I don't **know** any of you (yet)...but we are one and the same and we share a incredible bond that only those who grow/take the risks can describe.

Love for one another..and love for the herb. Sounds like viable reasons to CELEBRATE to us!

Well, it's not the number of entries submitted which determine the number of judges....it's the grams required to enter which, once divided, determine that.

Example: 7.5 grams to enter divided into 1/2 gram samples = 15 samples per entry, enough for 15 judges to receive 1/2 gram each. Now multiply that by the number of entries submitted and that's what a Hash Judge will receive. So if there turns out to be 30 hash entries, the judges will receive approx 1/2 gram each of 30 entries.
