hello ic, dsog here! thought i'd start a grow journal since i was starting a from seed run in a brand new room. the room is about 4.5' deep x 6.5' wide and has a slanted ceiling over the majority of it. currently, i have (2) 600w'ers in there that i alternate which is on at a time (since they are only seedlings at this point.) as i progressively veg, i will have all 1200 watts fired up and perhaps by the time i flip that value will increase to 1800w.

the room is of a sealed design, with no air in/out except when i open the door. i have a 12k btu air conditioner mounted in 1 wall (of the mechanical knob variety, not digital and thats important) and it is driven by a day/night climate controller unit. this keeps temps right between 72-76 (constantly!) depending on how many lights i got on.

the lights are air cooled using the ambient air in the room. the air goes in thru open end of the reflector nearest the a/c and goes thru the other reflector, then an inline 6" vortex pushing through a carbon scrubber and then air is back in the ambient (room.)

nice setup dsog, real clean. good luck with the somatooth, was pretty tasty stuff for me, and im posted watching the nycd's with a keen eye. all my scbb x bb's had nuts, maybe you'll get a better ratio.
