Soil Octagon..Humboldt Style

This is one of the best set-ups I have seen yet. Mrs.HH and myself got out tonight and finally got to see some good friends, and their beautiful family. I will be up-loading some killer pics. of the flowers later, but for now you can take a look at this awesome set-up. I have invited this friend to join the community here, as you can see he clearly has a passion for his work. For now we will call him Mr.Mack. Most of this is Af/Kush, Hindu Kush, a couple of DJ's Blueberrys and a Blue Moonshine. A huge thanks to Mr.Mack and his wife for allowing us to photograph and share with this community :respect: HH

I really like the Mr Mack style of growing. Really makes the most out of his space. Super nice of your friends to allow you to photo his grow like that. Looking forward to his contributions to our community. Very nice plants.

now this is it man....presicely what i have been taling about doing...a vert grow for soil, but that can be used with pretty much any medium u like..... briliant.....Ill b using shop bought plastic garden troughs instead iof doing wooden ones but other tha that this is pretty much what im thinking....ill be doing a smaller one to start with as an experiment getying things sussed out....probably going to bve a 400watter with no more than 3 rows high. I plan to tilt my troughs forward slightly which will let me get them closer together and therefore pack a few more rows and so plants into the space(obviously not going overboard with the 400watt prototype but when i do the big un lol that'll be a sight to see as is this!)
nice one for posting this....It seems like suddenly ive got loads of vertgrows to glean detais n tips and such from in the past 6 weeks ....
Be lucky now,
Harry

I wonder if they regenerate the soil in the trays with each grow, or do they change it completely? Also, I'm curious to know how long they veg before flipping, if at all? How many plants per tray? What do they do about the runoff from watering? I know...too many questions :bat: :D

Mr. Mack...you rock...help a lady to get a grip on your system  hmmmmm...sounds kinda funny :biglaugh:

Indigo, No problem, never too many questions, just had to check the facts first. Mr. Mack says. He changes soil out everytime, the beds are lined with heavy plastic. Makes it easy to clean and change soil. These ladies were small when he received them so he vegged them for approx. 2 weeks, this allows them to take the shape towards the lights at a angle. The room is approx 10ft.x10x8 with plenty of room to move around everything. He uses 3k of mixed spectrum and there is almost 80 ladies in there. There is no runoff from watering. Not sure on fan sizes but we can assure you this baby is dialed. Glad to see everybody enjoying Mr.Macks show, I'am sure he will be joining us all before too long. Indigo, Mrs.HH says High and sends her best.
Nspecta GT- Thanks for checkin out the show, Represent :respect: Lay Low, Stay High-HH
