Hey Everyone,

Thanks to lots of people on this forum, I have built my first "large" grow. Here are some pictures from along the way. I am running lucas formula with Floranova Bloom in coco with some perlite. Currently I am running a 2k flip flop between the 2 rooms. 1 1k HPS (eventually 2k HPS) and 1 1k MH in the flower rooms. Then 1,000w MH for veg and 4 bulb t5 for clones.

I am running the bulbs above each other and for this first run, 15 plants in the room on the right for 2000w. They are about 18 inches up off the ground and they are just short of the 8ft ceiling. This next run I am going to do my tall plants up on the blocks and wood and then put some of my short ones that are vegging onto the floor. I currently have 11 plants in the room on the right but will be adding a few more. I am thinking eventually it should be about 16 plants per room with 3k of lights going down the middle. The MH will be in the middle between the 2 HPS bulbs.

I am using an 8 inch fan to pull the air out of the rooms and exchange it with the veg room air. C02 is going to be setup once I get another 2 8" fans to help with airflow.

Haha, yeah, it is very easy to get lost in there. It happens to me every day. The reason for poly directly was so I could tear down faster if needed. I wish I had drywall up on the walls, but I am just making due for the next little while. This setup will only be until August then it will be on to something else, probably bigger. :joint:

To still be done in my rooms is:
Run drain line to sink, float valve for my RO res, build shelves and close in the bottom of my clone table, hang carbon filters from the ceiling in the flower rooms, add 8" fan for room on the left, insulate RO res, add 3 wall mount fans per room, run conduit and plugs to all the rooms and who knows what else! Still lots to do, but it is getting there.

Thanks guys! Only 1 was a former mother, all the others were vegged for a couple of months. Ultimately I will have 2 weeks or so in the cloner, 2 weeks in cups under the t5 then a month under the 1k MH for veg then into flower.

Got the drain line ran for the sink and did some organizing and cleaning tonight. Tomorrow I am going to shoot to get my storage shelves built underneath the cloner and run my hose lines.

Looking good RedDeer, I'll pull up a milk crate and watch you grow the dankness :D

I'm Smiley, nice to see you on the forums, Welcome

Did you put up your panda film by yourself? It's a bitch, innit? ;)

I couldn't have those cords on the floor and still carry plants and water :D I screwed some eye bolt to the joists then latched carabiners to the eye's. Slug all the cords through em. Couple bucks at harbor freight and no tripping :)

Yeah putting that panda up was such a pain in the ass. Yeah, all the cords are off the ground now. In the next week I am running conduit to outlets in each room so I wont have to use any power strips or extension cords.

Here are a few more pictures from tonight.

Great setup, I can't help but think all that plastic is gonna cause a mold problem in your walls on the framin if it is too humid down there...looks nice and relective though....but holy overkill batman!

Yeah, if this were a long term setup, the panda would not have been the way to go. It was not my first choice, but it ended up being the same cost as drywall would have been and a lot easier to tear down. In 4 months all of this stuff is going to get ripped down so I am not too concerned with mold in the walls. I also have a dehumidifier going in there and lots of air movement on the outside of the walls which have some plywood on them.

I think that's the best way to be, you need to know when to quit throwing money at a growroom especially when it's temp. I did the drywall but stopped short of mudding it and threw the panda up instead when I found out we might be looking for a more rural place end of the year.

I still need to get a dehuy and 55 gallon reservoirs.

Anyways looks good, I wish i would have bought the silver/black flex duct instead of the R8 insulated ducting. It's fucked to have on the lights since any excess will push the lights apart. I still might replace this.

Got my drain line ran, built the shelves for under the cloner and setup my hose line that runs to the sink to rinse out buckets and stuff. Also got all my pegboard hooks setup and got tools on them. Did a lot of organizing and cleaning today. I want my place spotless!

Few pictures from today. I have been harvesting some stuff and my buddy just got a new piece, so I decided I would break out my strobes and go all out on the pictures.

Oh..... man..... thats a sweet fuggin pic! :D Using a dslr?

I cleaned up yesterday and apparently that was my license to sit on my ass last night :D

The plumbing is one thing I am noticing that I really should have sorted out..... toting everything to the laundry room to wash sucks and stringing a hose from there to fill up the barrel sucks too.

Next room I build gets as much attention to the plumbing as I did for the elec.

Anyways, one thing I did right, and is paying off is keeping all the shelving/desk etc etc off the floor. I can spill anything and not worry about it but more importantly when I need floor space, I can get it. Fold down the desk and put the chair in the hall and I have enough room for all my plants on the floor of the veg.

Folding desk from IKEA

Really looking forward to more pics. They tell a good story

Cheers
