Bud Blood Test

I have a opportunity to run a little test in my grow and share the results with you.

I have a grow split into two stadiums. Right now one chamber has bigger plants that vegged longer with many pruned down mother in it as well. This chamber has plants in it for the most part that are past what size is manageable on my shelf system. After the trasition stretch, it's going to be a jungle.

The other room has mostly plants vegged the exact size I like with some under developed ones thrown in the non optimum areas. After the rooms fill out some, of these weaklings get culled and the space gets used up wisely.

Both chambers run on the same system/timing and are now 4 days into the 12/12 cycle. I'm going to give Bud Blood to the over vegged room only and see which room finishes it's transition into full bloom sooner. I will also take notes on maturity time even though both rooms will have to be harvested at the same time.

This won't be a very comprehensive and thorough test of any product. It going to be done in revelence to my situation only so take the results for what they are worth. I will provide some pics after I feed. If you are unaware of my system, instead of asking me here you can search HP STADIUM and get an idea of some of my grows. Theres many questions answered on there.

I gave one of my rooms a dose of Bud Blood last night.

This is not a test where I run Bud Blood with a whole AN feed reg. I keep my feeding simple. Usually GH 3 part base and a few additives and my ppm rarely goes above 1000ppm.
For *this* feed I used the recomended transition feed... 2/2/2 parts to 120 L of RO water. The second rez was simply the 3 part GH mixed 2/2/2. The PPM with Bud Blood added was 970 ppm ph'd at 6.3. I mixed 40gr to the rez. This was a free sample.

My rooms had been in Veg/24h light for 2 weeks the flipped 4 days ago to 12hr. The right hand room is full of plants that have been vegged under T5 light banks and are way too far ahaead of the L room. I'm going to post a pick of a few plants every 48 hours or as things develope. This stage of my test will be over once the rooms finish their transition phase which for me is usuallly 2 weeks.

wouldnt a true test be to use 2 equal sized sized stadiums and add bud blood to 1, and not bud blood on the other? over filling the area will result in smaller yeilds as will shortening the time. As an ex AN tech rep, I can tell you I wouldn't use bud blood unless the strains you grow are 100% equatorial and take no less than 12-16 weeks and grow 10'. why add a bloom stimulant when there are no buds present? want to control stretch? cut out the grow in grow micro bloom ferts. don't use b vits the first week of bloom either.

You were a rep for AN?

I'm using bud blood in the *first week* like they suggest...before the buds show! These are *two equal size stadiums* with bud blood *only in one*. The room that was over filled isnt too crowded at the beginning of the test. I've now started to spread the plants among the two rooms and the ones with bud blood are marked.

AN suggest using these things during the times I am using them. You were a rep for AN I ask again? It appears you are not aware of what the products are used for. Odd....

I'm going to post now about how the stretch was nowhere near what it usually is in my rooms with my strains....

Ok, folks, I've been busy and didnt update like I had said I would. Sorry.

The rooms are 10-11 days into their 12h shifts. It's been 6-7 days since the left room was given Bud Blood.

The left room which had the bud blood definately didnt show buds earlier. In fact the other(no BB) room did have more plants at a more advanced stage from the times after application to now.

I definately did notice that my stretch was significantly reduced with the bud blood. Many of the plants in the left room were much bigger than I like to put in there. Because of a clone shortage I had to let the older the side grow while the other grew big enough to flip to 12h.

There is a couple of days of slow stretch left but this end of the observation is pretty much over. They claim earlier maturity? I'll keep an eye on that progress as well. I'm very familiar with the rate of veg, transition stretch, early and late blooming and maturity. I'll try my best.

I'll process some pics later but I doubt they will tell much of a story.

I was a rep for them. I know how its directed for use. however there is no point in using it unless used for the reasons previously mentioned. I shouldn't have to explain it, as it should make perfect sense to not need a huge PK boost from the get go any more than just adjusting your veg, trans, or bloom ferts to get what you want to achieve. what strains are you growing again? stretch isnt always a bad thing in transitional stage. it can set up nice cola structure on shorter indica types. However indoors due to ceilings and what not, A pk boost will definately shorten the stretch and manipulate the plant into inducing flowering much faster than when just introduced to 12/12 on a 1-1-1 schedule, or even straight to a lucas like bloom regiment. There are times and places for its use, but I will say that anything that cuts time, hinders overall quality/yield.

What does cutting out the grow achieve besides later definencies?

Go back and read all I have posted. You seemed to have missed a lot of info. You are making unnecessary assumptions.

I know how to grow my rooms and when to trigger them. This time I had to plant oversize plants for half my numbers. I decided to try this out AND SHARE WHAT HAPPENS!

want to control stretch?

It appears I just did...with gro and b52 in my feeding....as well as Bud Blood.

Tell us all about BUD BLOOD mr rep. What is it's intended purpose? When exactly is it supposed to be used? Whats is in it?

You apparently think I'm adding BIG BUD! (or some other blossom booster) This is not a bud booster.

I don't need to answer all your questions because you have obviously mistaken this for a thread where someone is having problems with their crops and needs help. Not at all, I'm just sharing experience. Unlike some who need to be an authorority on subjects without even reading the details or researching the product.

My problem was not enough clones.

No dude. you have me wrong. mr. dipshit I'm trying to help you. bud blood is a 0-39-20 or something like that NPK booster that is used the 1st 2 weeks of bloom to shorten flowering time, stretch, and somehow improve yield. "According to AN." It's fuckin bullshit man! cant wait to hear your results. I know what the fuck the AN line is. I wrote the mixing directions for the 2+ program and 5 other regiments for AN's Distributor catalog in 06-7. I was a moderator on their medical forum. I know their products, and I know bullshit when I smell it. that product is some bullshit. why would anyone add a booster to a plant with no budsets? how much BS do you actually believe?

Also, you are obviously not familiar with the Lucas formula. a formula basically designed to grow and bloom cannabis. 1 part micro, 2 parts bloom. notice the majority of N is in micro and bloom, and not in the grow.. It is you who has plenty to learn about plant nutrition, pal.
I'm the guy AN's distributor hired to go around the country and teach them how to use this shit after all their customers were frying crops using their ridonkulous nute calc. I am here to help you so don't act like a fuckin asshole. smoke some pot and chill brah.

This is not about me believing....I have never once in my life publicly supported one of their productds. How doi you keep coming up with these conclusions??? Oh yeah....*Too High*

You could have simply said at the beginning that you didnt agree with their claims but instead you posted a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with what I was doing because you didnt read the details.

I read every bit my man. I understand its a test. I simply stated you need a control and an experiment. Then I went on to tell you it's unneccasary. you went on huge rants calling me mr. rep and still I want to help you. glad you don't buy into the hype but are willing enough to sacrifice half a harvest on an experiment. that could get really expensive! then you talked a bunch of shit after I tried to explain simple plant physiology to you. Love the vert idea, looks healthy. good luck with it. I'm done trying to help you think outside the box, or sharing personal experiences that could help you. good growing!

I asked you to see if you knew because you were amkiing little sense with your claims. Again you assumed...you seem to keep getting ahead of yourself.

I was not feeding the bloom phase yet. I stated that...again you missed the details because you think you know more than anyone so what they say is not important....

4 days into 12h I fed a transition mix of equal parts(since they usually double in size at least yet). I have since moved to the bloom phase and I do drop my gro....later, otherwise I get K(edit) def. You sure seem to assume a lot and want to agrue.

This thread was never about anything you have brought up and challenged. Regardless of how much experience you have, manners is where you need the most work. Good luck with that and thank you for getting your dirty hand prints all over my thread. I didnt post this in the help section by the way. Put on your cape and go to the infirmary.

The list of things you missed, misunderstood or assumed is huge here...seriously.
