ICMAGS Minifridge Clubhouse

wut up everybody?!! some of you may know me by my , slow motion, minifridge build. im new to growing so stumbling upon icmag was just what i needed, and since i got here iv learned so much from all the friendly people. since i first arrived here, at icmag, iv seen a few minifridge grows here and there. those that i had seen inspired me to try a minifridge myself. dureing my build iv noticed even more ic magrs posting that they are growing or are thinking of growing in a minfridge. so heres a place where you can come and check out other mini fridge builds/grows for tips, tricks, and advice on all kind of matters. everyone is welcome to post in the minifridge clubhouse, this is no one persons thread it belongs to everybody(advice seekers to the advice givers, pic posters to the pic lovers). we all love cab porn so lets see your minifridges!! all i ask is keep the negativity out, you feel the need to flame then please find somewhere else to do so. to get the clubhouse going heres the beginning shot of my fridgidaire minifridge the day i got it home and a current pic.



as you can see there is still plenty of work to be done. shes still a long way from completion, but the wait will definitely be worth it. alright iv showed you mine now show me yours!!!

Great idea for a club thread, disfunktional. I grow in a cab but I'll be lurking to see what fridge growers are up to. When I run across a fridge, I hope to know how to trick it out.

My fridge is just fridge with light and bunch of holes for air to get in/out and some Satori growing in there.

No updates in my grow diary but will have something up there soon.

Here's a crappy little pic of the two remaining Satori enjoying there second day @ 12/12.

why no brutha your more than welcome here as are anyone else, especially fridges or coolers. so feel free to post your fridges and coolers. i apologize if i seemed as thought i were a freezist, lol.

man your fridge rocks bro dont be down on it. yours and kolorblinds are the ones that inspired the 150w hps in mine, so thanks for the inspiration man!!! the satori is looking great!!

I'm not new at growing but new to micro....here I have my mini-fridge with a 150hps and also a removable 42watt cfl veg light. I have a couple of KC Brains Mango just getting started in DWC using PBP nutrients. Also I have one in Coco

Got my sights on a side-by-side. Veg, clones and mothers in the freezer and flower in fridge. I'd like to get a great big (used) commercial job that's operable. Then I guess I'd have to somehow disable the freezer while keeping the fridge cooler in tact.

By the time I get all this down, mj will be legal and I can grow in the back yard.

Fridges really are the shit when it comes to stealth growing. My next door neighbor gets a thrill showing others his dedicated fridge full of Bush Light. Bush fucking Light?!!? I mean, if it was full of Pabst Blue Ribbon, that's a whole different thing.

I can imagine him opening any of your fridges full of top shelf. Might even burst his beer bubble, lol.

I hope you know I was just joking with you. I don't feel any more excluded here than I am in the 150 or 400 watt clubs. This is a great club to set up. Had I known 16-17 years ago what I know now, I may well have gone with a smaller cab. I'm literally uncomfortable with my 250's production. I'm not used to having a half pound or more of weed lying around. Po' Freezer .

For a personal grow, a 150 and a cab like yours could be perfect. Everyone thinks they know what it is and they expect to hear noise, so they become invisible and silent.

Dis - GREAT idea for a thread!! I am in for sure! Should have my rig up and running in a few weeks once we get settled into the new home. I plan to keep it in a closet (with a lock on the door of course) and convert a portion of the closet to grow in as well.

Not quite sure about which will be veg/mother, which will be flower, etc. but I cant wait to start figuring it out!

FB - That shit cracked me up my man! However long it took you to work out that little jingle was time well spent, I laughed my ass off!! As a former Mickey Mouse Club kid it got me good!


I dont have much time but thought I would toss a couple pics up of my little project in the making. I have harvested from it twice now and all in all it cost me about $200 to make. More details later maybe, if theyre requested.


Front - Would be a perfect 18"W x 16.5"D x 32"H if not for the 6"H x 4"D "hump" Bare 150w HPS w/ 80mm Computer Fan keeping it cool. Nylon string has since been replaced with chain, and soon to be replaced with cord & pulleys.


Back - S&P TD-11x Inline Fan pushing THROUGH my homemade Can style Carbon Scrubber. Scrubber also works as a muffler for the "whooshing" sound. Ballast & Igniter are mounted to the back to cut down on internal heat as well.


In Use - My last grow, 9 Diesel Ryder ladies in a SOG style grow. Yeilded 4.65oz dry. The foil tape over the gasket on the inside of the door was to keep the gasket from glowing, it worked 100%. The towel in the bottom is there so I can put the plants in still dripping after watering them, and it helps to keep the humidity at a comfortable 55%. Max temps were about 83F Avg temps were 79-80F.


One for Fun - Dried & Cured Diesel Ryder. 66 days from seed to scissors




This thread should be lots of fun. I cant wait to see more people's setups so I can copy ideas that are better than mine....muahahahah! For real though this should be fun, hope some more people take interest for sure! Ill pop a link in my signature, and Im subscribed!!!

Haha!! Thanks man! I have added so much foil duct tape since then. I buy the high temp stuff at a local hardware store, rated for like 600F. It is the most lightproof tape I can find, the rolls are about $10 a pop though, and small.

Oh and as soon as I spread enough rep, Im +repping you from my wife and I She laughed so hard when i sang it for her

i know right! from behind it reminds me of the robot off of Lost In Space. danger will robinson danger, lol.

ok, just bought a couple of 6 cu.ft mini fridges, what size is in the pics??? looks like a 4.5 cu.ft mini fridge, i could be wrong, but i got a couple of the biggest ones i could find.

Ive got everything else since im downscaling from a pretty large grow, just gotta wire up some 50w hps ballasts. Gonna run 4 of them in each fridge. You guys want a pro mini fridge grow, well, its on its way.
