These where ordered from BCBUD, not to experiment or do some sort of test grow for the rest of us...just sheer ignorance
5-22-09
Right out of the package, Initial thoughts: seeds are smaller than average, however very viable looking.
I germinate in a paper towel, I place them in a dark warm place (on top of my cable box). I always have a great germination rate.
5-24-09
48 Hours Later...All cracked, a couple are almost ready to be planted.
5/29/09 (1st Week)
7 Days from mailbox, I lost (literally) 2 beans during germination, one I found almost 20 hours later (dried out). I placed it back in the paper towel and it survived. It goes to show you, very little moisture is needed to germ.
6/5/09 (2 Weeks)
14 Days from mailbox
They are already Starting to smell skunky!!
5 of the 9 have mutations, From what I've read about the BX3 thats not all that uncommon...soon they should snap out of it.
6/12/09 (3 Weeks)
Group shot
Looks to be my best pheno
Crazy Mutant
I use transparent cups placed inside colored, so that I can monitor the root structure.
----------------------------------------------
My intentions where to get pics every 7th day to show weekly changes, however a broken Femur bone messed things up a bit...
----------------------------------------------
7/12/09 (Week 8)
Group shots, merely a day or 2 from showing sex...all are TBD
I'm trying to extract the health of the plant to heal my leg:wink:
My healthiest and most uniform plant, most definitely a male.
Close up of mutations. I know they appear to be diseased, however the mutations have been present since they where seedlings and they are finally starting to "snap out of it" plus plants are quite healthy.
Any thoughts as to what BCBUD sent me?? Very slow vegger like the BX3, however the leaf shape and color doesn't seem consistent to SB, from what I've read the variations and mutations are not unusual for BX3's...
