Anyone help out here I just been reading a lot and wanting to get something nice and Top Shelf. If Price is to be considered some gauge on Quality then this One is Some of the best.I just don`t see much written about this strain.
Is it great Quality and worth the money or should i just settle for the cheese.
Greenhouse sounds interesting but not real popular in here.Show me the best seeds to grow.can. grow 5footers in summer outdoors.

Ive heard that Ed worked on this strain for over 20 years, and it was kept within a close circle of his friends.. Im sure they wouldn't release anything with Ed's name on it unless it wasn't TOP SHELF genetics as you put it.. I would def give it a shot.

tried Ed Rosenthal Super Bud this spring.....

tried Ed Rosenthal Super Bud this spring.....

.....10 seeds for $190. 5 of 10 germinated. 4 of 5 of those were males. it was easy to take cuttings from the lone female, which is an indica phenotype. once enough cuttings were established, gave the original mother to a friend so he could place her outside in his back yard. she is responding very well to the Santa Barbara sunshine. will post pictures in a week when he gets back from vacation. we should get at least 700 grams manicured bud from this fine specimen, and we have her cuttings. this plant was worth EVERY PENNY of the $190 i paid for the 10 seeds.

may i also recommend.....

may i also recommend.....

.....Sensi Seeds Shiva Skunk and Mandala Seeds 8 Miles High. the Shivas were $78 for 10 seeds, 8MH cost $30 for 10 seeds. Shiva is an old friend, 8MH was released in 2009. only got 2 females from 8MH, but they clone easily, and although Mandala says this is a mostly sativa strain, the females i got are extreme indica phenotypes which thrive indoors and outdoors. can't wait to try the 8s for the first time. Shiva has the same fine taste they had in the late 80s when Neville first crossed the NL# 5 cutting with Skunk #1.

Highest, good info. How long until you can post a smoke report on 8MH? When you do, please compare your effects to the description on Mandala's site. I can't wait for that one.

reporting on 8 Miles High.....

reporting on 8 Miles High.....

.....Jah willing, i should be able to report by Halloween. although Mandala writes 8MH is mostly sativa, i got 2 with an extreme indica/afghanica structure, wide leaves, very close internodal spacing. doing well indoors and outdoors. hope the strain lives up to the breeders' description, i can remember the intense visual hallucinations from Acapulco Gold in the late 60s and the pure Jamaicans fron the early 70s. regarding Mandala strains, i've had Satori, Hashberry, Mandala #1 and 8 Miles High. i can honestly recommend all of them.

I wouldnt buy the sensi ed rosenthal.
There is a cheap knockoff version thats supposed to be just as good as sensis, but it costs only 20 euro. Unfortunately im not allowed to name the breeder here.

yes i read reports on a german grow forum and the grower said there was no difference to sensi original. I also grew a different strain from them and liked it very much. Here are some pics from the member flotstildeath

KM: is that a picture of the Super Bud above?
If it is, it doesn't appear to have any of the same floral characteristics. It's markedly less compact and looks a bit like it's showing haze-like growth patterns.
All the buds from Ed Rosenthal's Super Bud (and purportedly the knockoffs if they're 'identical') share very little phenotypic variability. It could be that there's alot of heat stress making the buds uncompact.....that may explain the variance....

Anyway: whether you get the 'original' or a knockoff...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by it. It's extremely hard to explain how different it is from some other strains. Some people can take it or leave it....but the people that like it....REALLY love it. For others that are eqivocal...it all comes down to personal preference and taste.

The beans are a bit steeper than most, but IMHO they were worth the investment and based upon my results I'd do it again without hesitation. Never been disappointed by a Sensi release and ERSB is no exception.
